The aim of this study was to prepare rebamipide ocular inserts in order to extend its release on the ocular surface for dry eye treatment. Solubility study was applied to the drug with or without l-arginine using different solvents. Solvent casting technique was used to prepare the inserts; l-arginine was used to solubilize the drug, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose grades (E5 and K15M) and poly ethylene glycol 200 were used as excipients.              The synthesis of nanoparticles (GNPs) from the reduction of HAuCl₄ ^.3H₂O by aluminum metal was obtained in aqueous solution with the use of Arabic gum as a stabilizing agent. The GNPs were characterized by TEM, AFM and Zeta potential spectroscopy. The reduction process was monitored over time by measuring ultraviolet spectra at a range of λ 520-525 nm. Also the color changes from yellow to ruby red, shape and size of GNP was studied by TEM. Shape was spherical and the size of particles was (12-17.5) nm. The best results were obtained at pH 6.

   A simple and smart algorithm was presented to recognize car plates in parking at the College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad, Iraq. The study consists of recording video clips of all cars parked in the selected area. The studied camera heights were1m and 2m, and the video clips were 19 and 30. Images were extracted from the video clip to be used for training data for the cascade method. Haar classification was used to detect license plates after the training step. Viola-jones algorithm was applied to the output of Haar’s data for both camera heights (1m and 2m). The accuracy was calculated for all data with different weather conditions and local time recoding. The accuracy is 100% for all data in this study.

In this research two algorithms are applied, the first is Fuzzy C Means (FCM) algorithm and the second is hard K means (HKM) algorithm to know which of them is better than the others these two algorithms are applied on a set of data collected  from the Ministry of Planning on the water turbidity of five areas in Baghdad to know which of these areas are less turbid in clear water to see which months during the year are less turbid in clear water in the specified area.
