Background: Obesity is a worldwide challenge and is closely
connected to many metabolic diseases. Two types of
adipose tissue, white adipose tissue (WAT) and brown
adipose tissue (BAT) have been identified. White fat cells
store chemical energy, brown adipocytes defend against
hypothermia, obesity and diabetes.
Objective: To localize and quantify brown adipocytes in
human subcutaneous (S) and visceral (V) adipose tissue by
histology and immunohistochemistry.
Type of the study: A cross –sectional study.
Methods: Adipose tissue was obtained from histopathology
specimens taken from ten patients, of different age, sex and
body mass index (BMI), undergoing surgery for different
pathologies. Immunohistochemistry for detection of UCP
(Uncoupling Protein) in S and V adipose tissue depots was
performed, and percentage of the positive pixels for UCP
color intensity was measured and statistical analysis
performed.data was expressed as mean ± standard
deviation (SD) and analyzed using student t-test to compare
values
The Political loyalties of the individual considered as the most important democracies through direct psychological identification in a particular party. The political parties regarded as the important elements and the foundations of the democratic system. They have effective interaction between the voters and the government institutions. The aim of the current research is to identify the quality of Islamic, the Civilian parties, and the most preferred for students. also, the research attempt to identify the level of identification party that the university students have, and the difference of identification party according to the gender (male, female), the difference of of social class (upper, middle, poor). The sample

This paper aims to identify lithology and minerals composition within the Mishrif Formation of the Ratawi Oilfield using well log data from five open hole logs of wells RT-2, RT-4, RT-5, RT-6, and RT-42. At this step, the logging lithology identification tasks often involve constructing a lithology identification model based on the assumption that the log data are interconnected. Lithology and minerals were identified using three empirical methods: Neutron-Density cross plots for lithology id

Extraction, purification and quantitive determination of Vinblastine and Vincristine compounds using High performance liquid chromatography technique (HPLC)were carried out. The results showed that the highest concentration of Vinblastine and Vincristine compounds were ( 4.653,12.5 (ppm /0.5 dry Wight respectively from transformed callus cells from MS 40 gm /L sucrose , 2 gm / L NAA Naphthaline acetic acid .
Cryptosporidiosis is an intestinal protozoan parasitic disease that infects human and animals, caused by apicomplexan parasite belong to the genusof Cryptosporidium. The current study was done to record the infection rate of cryptosporidiosis in human and cattle, and genotype the clinical isolates of Cryptosporidium in Baghdad Province. A total of 265 stool sample were collected (150 from human and 115 from cattle) during the period from December 2016 to the May 2017. Cryptosporidial infection was detected using modified acid fast stain. DNA of the parasite was extracted from oocysts of positive fecal samples and nested PCR method was used for partial 60 kDa glycoprotein (gp60) gene amplification then sequence analysis for selected samples.

One such virus that can be transmitted through blood is the Human Parvovirus B19 (B19V). The aim of this study was to investigate the frequency and molecular detection of B19V. This study included 60 blood donors as controls and 120 BTM patients. B19V was identified by serology, which measured B19-IgG and B19-IgM antibodies. Nested Polymerase Chain Reaction (nPCR) was employed to target the VP1/VP2 structural proteins. The results showed that B19V seropositivity represents 27.5% (33 out of 120) in BTM patients, and
