Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the role of spiral Computerized Tomography in the diagnosis and
detection the types of stroke.
Methodology: One hundred sixty two patients (162) (99 males and 63 females) their ages ranging from (13 – 80)
year, all of them are suffering from stroke. They were collected randomly from spiral Computerized Tomography
unit in Baquba Teaching hospital during the period from November / 2010 to December / 2011 .All the patients
were examined clinically and then done spiral Computerized Tomography examination.

Motives: The research deals with the issue of urban sprawl on agricultural lands. It is an urban problem caused by rapid urbanization and poor planning. It is considered one problem that threatens cities with environmental and health disasters. It also threatens agricultural life and the green belt surrounding cities. Changes in urban sprawl on agricultural land are associated with complex processes that lead to multiple social, economic, political, and environmental risks and thus pose a threat and an obstacle to the sustainability of cities. The petrophysical characteristics of five wells drilled into the Sa'di Formation in the Halfaya oil field were evaluated using IP software to determine a reservoir and explore hydrocarbon reserve zones. The lithology was evaluated using the M-N cross-plot method. The diagram showed that the Sa'di Formation was mainly composed of calcite (represented by the limestone region) is the main mineral in the Sa′di Reservoir. Using a density-neutron cross plot to identify the lithology showed that the formation mainly consists of limestone with minor shale. Gamma-ray logs were employed to calculate the shale quantity in each well. The porosity at weak hole intervals was calculated using a sonic log and neutron-density log at the reservoir
