It was found that one-third to one-half of diabetics have peripheral neuropathy. The current study aimed to evaluate the level of visfatin in diabetic patient groups with or without peripheral neuropathy in comparison with healthy subjects to knowledge whether visfatin can be applied as a predictor factor for this type of disease complication. Arylesterase, the activity of Paraoxonase-1 (PON-1), is mainly contributed in the biotransformation of clopidogrel to its active thiol form. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of receiving clopidogrel drug on the arylesterase activities in CAD patients. In this study, an approach inspired by a standardized calibration method was used to test a laser distance meter (LDM). A laser distance sensor (LDS) was tested with respect to an LDM and then a statistical indicator explained that the former functions in a similar manner as the latter. Also, regression terms were used to estimate the additive error and scale the correction of the sensors. The specified distance was divided into several parts with percent of longest one and observed using two sensors, left and right. The main objective of the paper is to study the possibility of erecting 2 MW wind turbine in the south of Iraq (Barjisiah site) by utilizing WAsP model. Wind potential and output predicted the power of WT at a supposed site was calculated. The results for proposed WT showed the WT has a weak performance due to its high capacity and low potential of wind speeds at this site. So, the WT will provide power for a limited time during the year due to its operating at the zone under the rated wind speed.
