Two dwarf snakes were discovered, Eirenis thospitis Schmidtler & Lanza from Sereen mountain, north east of Arbil  and E. rothii Jan from Saffin mountain North of Arbil  city  North of Iraqi Kurdistan. Supported by description and important notes on variation. In addition summarized list for 9 species of the genus Eirenis Jan in Iraq is also presented.  

 The present study introduces description of a new species of class Ostracoda genus Hemicypris Sars, 1903. External morphological characters particularly shape, size and structure of left and right valves of carapace and body appendages were discussed and illustrated. This paper deals with the mathematical method for extracting the Exponential Rayleighh  distribution based on mixed between the cumulative distribution function of Exponential distribution and  the cumulative distribution function of Rayleigh distribution using an application (maximum), as well as derived different statistical properties for  distribution, and present a structure of a new distribution based on a modified weighted version of Azzalini’s (1985) named Modified Weighted Exponential Rayleigh  distribution such that this new distribution is generalization of the  distribution and provide some special models of the  distribution, as well as derived different statistical properties for  distribution

2-Amino-5-aryl- 1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid (A1-A3) were synthesized from the reaction of various aromatic aldehyde with dichloro acetic acid and thiourea. The synthesis of 2-[[(Saminosulfinim-idoyl)(aryl)methyl](benzoyl)amino]-5-aryl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid (A22-A30) was perfomed starting from (A1-A3) by two steps using Schiff's base (A4-A12) prepared  from the reactant compounds (A1-A3) with different aromatic aldehyde. Finally two types of imide derivatives were obtained from reactant compounds (A1-A3) with malic anhydride (A31-A33) and phthalic anhydride (A34-A36) in the presence of glacial acetic acid. All proposed structures were supported by FT-IR and UV-Visible spectroscopic data.  
 

Synthesis, Characterization And Biological Evaluation of New Schiff Bases MixedLigand Metal Complexes of Some Drug Substances

Heterocyclic compounds are crucial for medicinal chemistry and the development of therapeutic agents like broad-spectrum antibiotics. This study devised a facile procedure to synthesize novel antimicrobial bicyclic heterocycles from 2-mercapto-3-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one. Advanced analytical techniques including 1 H and 13C NMR, elemental analysis, and FT-IR spectroscopy characterized the intricate chemical structures of the products. In vitro assays tested the heterocycles against aerobic and anaerobic bacterial strains using fluconazole and ciprofloxacin as antifungal and antibacterial controls. This study outlines the synthesis of substituted 1,2,4-triazole derivatives through the cyclization reaction of thiourea derivatives. The process begins with the reaction of different halides with KSCN to produce isothiocyanate derivatives. then followed by a reaction with isonicotinic acid hydrazide to yield thioureas (1-6), with a yield rate of (72-88%).
