Thirty water sample of wells, and three samples of springs from the upper most aquifer, as well as four samples from Lesser Zab River in Koi Sanjaq Basin, Erbil governorate of northern Iraq was collected and physically and chemically were analyzed. Physical analysis includes temperature, hydrogen ion concentration (pH), Electrical Conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), and Turbidity, whereas the geochemical analysis included concentration determines of the major, minor and trace elements. Chemical classification of the present samples using of chadha diagram explain that ( 95% ) of them located within field 5 and 6 whereas the rest (5%) are located in the field 8. Three stations were chosen on the water treatment plan of al- madaan .The Samples collected from the (Raw water) and the Sedimentation, filtration and storage water and the drinking water of outlet. Coliform densities T.S and F.C and TS and F.S and total bacterial count as bacteriological pollution indicators, as moste probable number (MPN) method was studied in test. Also some of the chemical characteristics of the water like pH , total suspended solid T.S.S, T.D.D.and S04 , T.Hardness , Ca++ , Mg++ . From the results it were indicated . The study showed the drinking water of outlet (distriputed in system) was agree with WHO criteria and Iraqi limits standards .

Firstly, in this study, a brief updated description and applications of different solar collectors used in renewable energy systems for supplying electric and thermal energy was presented. Secondly, an attempt was made to utilize tilting orientation of solar collector for maximizing collector energy with time in respect to horizontal orientation.
