From September 2002, monthly samples of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) were collected from two stations al AL-Gharraf canal. The results of this study revealed that the relationship between fecundity and total length , body weight and age can be expressed by the following equations: Log F=2.049+1.059 Log W. r =0.98 Log F=1.173+2.534 Log L. r =0.96 Log F=3.844+2.197 Log A. r =0.87 The range of the absolute fecundity of 20 female fishes were 50910 – 1008514 eggs and the relative fecundity was 177 eggs/g. The average egg diameter was 1.52 mm in ripe female and it ranged from 0.99mm to 1.64mm. There were three peaks of Ganado somatic index in the female fishes appeared at August ,November and February While in the male fishes appeared at November, January and April, it was at least two spawning seasons in the year.
This study was designed for isolation and molecular identification of Nontuberculous Mycobacterium (NTM) from fish during the period between October and December 2017 from Karbla province, Iraq. This study included 200 fresh fish samples from four different species including Spondyliosoma cantharus, Liza abu, Carassius carassius and Cyprinuscarpio. In the present work, a first-row divalent d-transition metal obtained from curcumin(Curc) and L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanin(L-dopa)have been synthesized which their complexes and characterized by C.H.N, conductance, spectral methods: FT-IR, Ultra–Visible. Magneto-chemical measurements, molar conductance ΛM (1×10−3 mol/L in DMSO):36- 0.84 ohm-1.cm2.mol-1 (non-electrolyte). An evaluation the performance of the irrigation system for the Al-Ishaqi irrigation project for the Eastern Canal was conducted to identify management strategies that can be used to improve the operation and performance of the irrigation system. The study area is located in Salah al-Din G.0overnorate, Iraq. The field work included determining the moisture content of the soil before and after irrigation, measuring the inflow of the field to find the depth of the applied water, field monitoring, and measuring the depth of the root zone for each irrigation process.
