The age data determined from the scales showed that there were eight age classes present in station 1 and 2 and seven age classes in station 3. The increment in length of A. latus at the area of study showed a tendency to decrease with the increase in age after the fourth year of life. The length- weight relationships of both sexes specimens are expressed by the following equations: Log ï· = -1.93 + 2.67 Log ï¬â€¦.. for station (1) fish Log ï·= -2.08 + 2.74 Log ï¬ â€¦. For station (2) fish Log ï·= -2.02 + 2.39 Log ï¬ â€¦. For station (3) fish It seems from the above equations that the growth of A. latus in the area of study is allometric.

Methods: 112 placentae samples were investigated during the period from August 2007 to August 2008 under light microscopefor mother aged 15 - 45 years old.Results: It was found that normal placental shapes had no correlation to mother age, while abnormal shapes were found more inyoung age groups. The better placental measured parameters were found in mother age 20-24 years. The percentages ofabnormal umbilical cord insertion were very high compared to other studies. The present study was conducted to investigate effect of prey type on the relationship between age of females of Macrocyclops albidus and reproductive performance, which included each of mean number of nauplii, age at first brood, and age at first clutch. Results revealed that the correlation coefficient between the age at first brood and clutch and age of females fed on Artemia was significant P <0.05, being 0.65 and 0.81 respectively, while the correlations were not significant P>0.05 in females fed on mosquito larvae (Culex quinquefasciatus) and Paramecium nauplii. The effect of nitrogen fertilizer and the planting distance on growth and yield of the sunflower cultivar (Taka) was investigated. The experiment was conducted in the field using five nitrogen fertilizer levels (0, 50, 100, 150, 200) kg/donum and three planting distances (10, 20, 30) cm/plant. The experiment design was split-plot by using RCBD with four replicates. The level of fertilizer as the main plot, while the planting distance as the sub plot.
