Human urinary Adenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP) was studied in 90 normal healthy volunteers (49 males and 41 females) aged between (11 months -55 years), and 86 leukemia patients (48 males and 38 females) of four types (25 ALL, 28 AML, 14 CLL, 19 CML) aged between (11 months - 65 years). The study includes the following:- Extraction and purification of urinary cAMP from the interfering nucleotides, proteins, phosphates and pyrophosphates, by using Zinc sulphate –Barium hydroxide precipitation. The extracted cAMP was purified by using Dowax 50W-H+ hydrogen form column chromatography (1x5 cm). Identification of the purified cAMP, this was achieved by applying the following techniques: a- U.V analysis: - Scanning the samples and standard cAMP at (220-300 nm) in acidic, basic and neutral pH by using (Helios alpha type) spectrophotometer. Shifts in the wave length were found in acidic and basic mediums comparing with the neutral pH for all of standard, normal and leukemia cAMP. b- TLC analysis: - Using Silica gel G60 (20 X 20 cm) TLC plates with solvent system (n- butanol: glacial acetic acid: water, (2:5:3 V/V). The Rf value for standard was 0.44 cm and for purified normal and leukemia cAMP were found to be closer to the standard value (0.43 and 0.45 cm respectively). c- HPLC analysis: - Using HPLC 10AVP consist of two deliver pumps, with methanol: water 50:50 V/V as mobile phase and flow rate of 1ml/min, the separation was performed on reversed phase (250 X 4.6 mm column). The eluted chromatogram was monitored by U.V-VIS 10AVSPD detector The retention time of urinary cAMP obtained from normal healthy and leukemic patients was 3.02 min which was close enough to the standard retention time. The results of the study showed that the level of purified normal and leukemia cAMP are of the values 15.87 ± 2.4 μmole/24 hours and 20.13 ± 0.881 μmole/24 hours respectively.

ABSTRACT : A new ligand [ 2- (3-acetylthioureido)-3-phenylpropanoic acid (APA) is synthesized by reaction of acetyl isothiocyanate with phenylalanine (1:1). It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(APA)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper complex is has square planer geometry.
The purposes of this study are to measure masculine's identification among secondary school students, and to examine the significant differences among secondary school students in respect of students age (16-18) year. The researcher has prepared a questionnaire comprised (25) item to measure masculine identification among students: this scale was applied on (100) student who were selected as a sample from four different school at al-rusafa side in Baghdad. The scale then modified to (23) item to be more consistent. The results revealed that there were no significant differences among students based on the variable of age, and the mean of masculine identification showed a high level than the hypothesized mean.

Randomly, the samples were collected from some fish farms from Baghdad, Babil, Wasit, Anbar, and Salah al-Din provinces. The aquatic Heptageniidae family of Ava-sheen branch (Greater Zab Tributary) in Duhok Governorate/ Iraq was studied. Samples were collected using Surber stream sampler to study their diagnostic morphological characteristics and molecular phylogenetic profile using a nuclear gene 16s ribosomal RNA. The morphological and molecular identification supported that the three species, Epeorus longimanus, Heptagenia elegantula and Ephemerella cornutus belong to Heptageniidae family, while the molecular results also confirmed the monophyletic origin of these three genera.

Thirty nine (12.8%) isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from 304 healthy human (Nasal swabs). It was found that percentage of males that have S. aureus is more than female's percentage. These isolates (39) were tested with different tests. Twenty seven isolates (69.23 %) were positive for Staphylococcus protein —A (SPA) ,thirty seven ( 94.8 %) were positive for tube coagulase , thirty five ( 89.7 % ) were positive with clumping factor and thirty two ( 82.05 %) had 13 — hemolytic on blood agar. It was found that 100% of the isolates (39 isolates) were positive with one, two or three tests (tube coagulase, clumping factor and SPA).
Two new organotin(IV) complexes Me2Snesc (C1) and Bu2Snesc (C2) have been synthesised from the reaction of the corresponding organotin(IV) chloride with the Schiff base ligand 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde-4-ethylsemicarbazone (H2esc). The ligand was prepared in two steps. The first step includes the formation of 4-ethylsemicarbazide, which then reacted with 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde to give the title ligand. A simple, environmental friendly and selective sample preparation technique employing porous membrane protected micro-solid phase extraction (μ-SPE) loaded with molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) for the determination of ochratoxin A (OTA) is described. After the extraction, the analyte was desorbed using ultrasonication and was analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography. Under the optimized conditions, the detection limits of OTA for coffee, grape juice and urine were 0.06 ng g−1, 0.02 and 0.02 ng mL−1, respectively while the quantification limits were 0.19 ng g−1, 0.06 and 0.08 ng mL−1, respectively.
