Polymers (Silicon elastomer) are used lately as a conductive material in electronic application in addition to be transparent, to light. In this paper we prepared polymer films about (1mm) thick and less which contain Ni-metal powder cured in magnetic vacuum furnaces at temperature 120°C in order to arrange or to be oriented the particles of the Ni- powder through the polymer in such a way to be conductive for electric currents. We found that these films are sensitive to any loads on the surface (force per unit area). Using light loads on a unit electric cell from these films, we get an electric transparent sensor that could be used in sensing applications.

The main objective of this research is to find out the effect of deviation in the aggregate gradients of asphalt mixtures from the Job Mix Formula (JMF) on the general mixture performance. Three road layers were worked on (wearing layer, binder layer, and base layer) and statistical analysis was performed for the data of completed projects in Baghdad city, and the sieve that carried the largest number of deviations for each layer was identified. Most available methods for unit hydrographs (SUH) derivation involve manual, subjective fitting of
a hydrograph through a few data points. The use of probability distributions for the derivation of synthetic
hydrographs had received much attention because of its similarity with unit hydrograph properties. In this
paper, the use of two flexible probability distributions is presented. For each distribution the unknown
parameters were derived in terms of the time to peak(tp), and the peak discharge(Qp). A simple Matlab
program is prepared for calculating these parameters and their validity was checked using comparison
with field data. Application to field data shows that the gamma and lognormal distributions had fit well.<
