Theoretical Study to Fatigue Crack Growth to Duplex Steel Alloy byGeneralized Paris Equation

  A theoretical study was done in this work for Fatigue , Fatigue Crack Growth (FCG) and stress factor intensity range for steel .       It also includes Generalized Paris Equation and the fulfillment of his equation which promises that there is a relation between parameters C and n .          Usig Simple Paris Equation through which we concluded the practical values of C and n and compared them with the theoretical values which have been concluded by Generalized Paris Equation .           The value of da/dN and ∆K for every material and sample were concluded and compared with the data which was used in the computer program for the whole of our research .            The program is written in Fortran . The theoretical and practical data was drawn with (Graf) program so as to conclude the data  mentioned in the research .

The ABAQUS® finite element software was used to model and analyze the process steps that involve plunging, dwelling, and traverse stages. The effect of different Ti additions on the microstructure of Al-Ti alloy prepared by powder metallurgy was investigated. A certain amount of Ti (10wt%, 15wt%, and 20wt%) were added to aluminium and the tests like microhardness, density, scanning electron microscope (SEM), optical microscope (OM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) were conducted to determine the influence of different Ti additives on the Al-Ti alloy properties and microstructure. In this work, studying the effect of ethylenediamine as a corrosion inhibitor was investigated for carbon steel in aerated HCl solution in range of 0.1-1N under dynamic conditions, i.e., rotational velocity of 400–1200 rpm in the temperature range 35 – 65 ºC.  Weight loss method was employed in absence and presence of the inhibitor as an adsorption type in concentration range 1000 – 5000 ppm using rotating cylinder specimens.
