A theoretical study was done in this work for Fatigue , Fatigue Crack Growth (FCG) and stress factor intensity range for steel . It also includes Generalized Paris Equation and the fulfillment of his equation which promises that there is a relation between parameters C and n . Usig Simple Paris Equation through which we concluded the practical values of C and n and compared them with the theoretical values which have been concluded by Generalized Paris Equation . The value of da/dN and ∆K for every material and sample were concluded and compared with the data which was used in the computer program for the whole of our research . The program is written in Fortran . The theoretical and practical data was drawn with (Graf) program so as to conclude the data mentioned in the research .

Show MoreThis research involves the synthesis of some sulphanyl benzimidazole derivatives (Ia-c), which were prepared from reaction of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole substituted benzyl halide, and structures were identified by spectral methods[FTIR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR].These compounds were investigated as corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in 1M H2SO4 solution using weight loss, potentiostatic polarization methods; obtained results showed that the sulphanyl benzimidazole derivatives retard both cathodic and anodic reactions in acidic media, by virtue of adsorption on the carbon steel surface. This study aimed to investigate the influence of longitudinal steel embedded tubes located at the center of the column cross-section on the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) columns. The experimental program consisted of 8 testing pin-ended square sectional columns of 150×150 mm, having a total height of 1400 mm, subjected to eccentric load. The considered variables were the steel square tube sizes of 25, 51 and 68 mm side dimensions and the load eccentricity (50 and 150) mm. RC columns were concealed steel tubes with hollow ratios of 3%, 12% and 20% depending on tube sizes used.
