This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of anemia among students (males and females) of the Technical and Medical Institute/ Al-Mansoor, Baghdad. 135 students aged 20 -22 years were subjected. Twenty-one students were found to be anemic. The prevalence of anemia among students was 15.55%, with no significant difference to sex. Then, the anemic students were treated with tablets of ferrous sulfate twice daily for 60 days. The treatment markedly elevated the hemoglobin concentration of both males and females and decreased the prevalence of anemia from 15.55% to 5.92%. The decrease in prevalence of anemia tended to be higher in anemic females as than anemic males (15.51% and 15.58% before treatment and 3.44% and 7.79% after treatment, respectively). So, treatment with ferrous sulfate tablets can effectively, reduce the prevalence of anemia among students and may reduce the complications of anemia among students.
This paper presents a method to classify colored textural images of skin tissues. Since medical images havehighly heterogeneity, the development of reliable skin-cancer detection process is difficult, and a mono fractaldimension is not sufficient to classify images of this nature. A multifractal-based feature vectors are suggested hereas an alternative and more effective tool. The experimental results are modeled using ( L2 _ regression) technique , sintered density and grain size rate measurments were accounted by utilizing experimental results of undoped , MgO doped and ZrO2 doped alumina impregrated with spherical large pores in final stage of sintering . The effect of each additive is inhibitian of the grain growth and increasing the densification rate which enhances the kinietics of densification and the removal of large and small pores.

Objectives: This study assessed the satisfaction with immunization services offered to children and factors affecting this satisfaction.
Methods: Exit interviews for clients were conducted in Baghdad, Al-Karkh in a representative sample of primary health care centers to assess clients’ satisfaction with immunization services. Clients are companions of children encountered at study settings.
