This study deals with air pollution tolerance index (APTI) and anatomical variation in leaves of two species of terrestrial plants Ficus sp. and Conocarpus sp. that have bee commonly the separated along roadsides in many stations within Babylon province. APTI values of both species were less than 10 during study period which represented sensitivity of these plants to air pollution. The mathematical construction of an ecological model with a prey-predator relationship was done. It presumed that the prey consisted of a stage structure of juveniles and adults. Organic compounds such as food colorants dyes are utilized as additives in a wide range of foods. In this study, the adsorption interaction behavior between the colorant food dye sunset yellow (SY) and the drug loratadine was examined. The adsorption procedure is conducted at different drug dosages, various SY dye concentrations, and different temperature (288-318K).
