There is a scarcity of data regarding algal flora of Tigris River in the territory of Baghdad. The present study deals with Tigris River in Al-Dora site in Baghdad province from November 2014 to June 2015 in order to shed light on its epiphytic Algae on (Phragmites australis) and epipelic algae. An amount of 183 and 154 species of epiphytic and epipelic algae are identified respectfully. The Bacillariophyceae (diatoms) are the dominant algal group followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae. Moreover, 90 species are shared between two groups of algae (epiphytic and epipelic) and identified at the study site. The problem of steady, laminar, natural convective flow in an square enclosure with and without partitions is considered for Rayleigh number (103-106) and Prandtl number (0.7). Vertical walls were maintained isothermal at different temperatures while horizontal walls and the partitions were insulated. The length of partition was taken constant.       The complexes of Pd+2 ion with 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-dieıhyl aminophenol (BPADAP) were studied kinetically and spectrophotometrically in aqueous ethanolic solutions. The reagent forms 1:1, 2:1 square planer and 1:1 bridged shape binuclear complexes with Pd+2 ion. All these complexes (violet colour) absorb light in the same region at 540, 575 and 618nm. The band at 618 nm seems to be specific for complexes of Pd+2ion with BPADAP.   The rate constants of the growth in 93% H2O + 7% ethanol of 1:1 and 2:1 complexes at 575 and 618 nm were followed the first order kinetics and are quite of the same values , 0.495 and 0.463 min- 1  respectively.
