The present study was designed to investigate the effect of R. stolonifer metabolic products on some antioxidant defenses and some elements (Cu, Fe, Ca) . The experiment was performed using 25 mature male rats, their age average was about (3-3.5) months and their weight average was about (200-225) gm. The animals were randomly divided into 5 equal groups (five animals for each): control (treated orally with normal saline) and four treatment groups were drenched orally with four concentrations of R. stolonifer metabolic products (15, 30, 60,120) μl/kg body weight. The animals were treated with one single dose of the previously described concentrations then left for 15 days. Animals of different groups were sacrificed under light ether anesthesia one day after the end of treatments and blood samples were taken to determine some physiological, biochemical parameters. The results revealed that the treated groups showed significant decreases (P< 0.05) in serum vitamin C and Fe, Cu concentrations. The decrease was proportional with the increase the concentrations of the metabolic products of R. stolonifer. On the contrary Catalase activity increased significantly (P< 0.05), while Ca concentration didn’t differ significantly (P< 0.05) The findings of this study may encourage other researcher for further study especially that we find in our local market that there are many rotted vegetable and fruits which may cause serious problems if consumed for certain period.
Determining risk indicators for dental implants is an essential strategy for preventing peri-implant diseases and effective diagnosis of dental implant success. To investigate the impact of certain potential factors on the osseointegrated dental implant. Eighty-four individuals were included in our study, 50 cases as a patient’s group and 34 participants as a control group. All cases were diagnosed based on certain criteria, 30 (60%) of patients had peri-implantitis, 20 (40%) with severe periimplantitis, 36(72%) were generalized, and 15 (30%) as localized peri-implantitis cases. Show MoreIn this research, the effect of changing the flood level of Al-Shuwaija marsh was studied using the geographic information systems, specifically the QGIS program, and the STRM digital elevation model with a spatial analysis accuracy of 28 meters, was used to study the marsh. The hydraulic factors that characterize the marsh and affecting on the flooding such as the ranks of the water channels feeding the marsh and the degree of slope and flat areas in it are studied. The area of immersion water, the mean depth, and the accumulated water volume are calculated for each immersion level, thereby, this study finds the safe immersion level for this marsh was determined.

n this work, the effect of gamma rays on blood thinning drugs was studied using the drug (Aspirin), where gamma rays were spread with the drug using a radioactive source (Co60), and 15,000 grams of Aspirin were placed in the device (gamma chamber 900). In this study, polyester composites reinforced with pistachio shells powder (P.) with an average
diameter (150 – 200 μm) with different weight ratios (0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5%) were
prepared to the resin. The Shore D hardness, thermal conductivity (K), and the glass transition
temperature (Tg) of the samples were examined. The results showed that the Shore D hardness
increases with the increase of the reinforcement ratio and its maximum value is (87.55) at (2.5%
P.) While the value of hardness at (0%) is (86.5). The thermal conductivity increases slightly with
