Thin films of tin disulphide SnS2 with different thicknesses (2500,4000,5000)A0 have been prepared by chemical spray pyrolises technique on substrate of glass with temperature (603)K . The effect of thickness on the optical properties of SnS2 has been studied.the optical study that includes the absorptance and transmittance spectra in the wavelength range (300900)nm demonstrated that the value of absorption coefficient (α) ) was greater than (104 cm-1) the electronic transitions at the fundamental absorption edge were of the indirect kind whether allowed and forbidden . Absorption edge shift slightly towards higher wave length.The value of energy gaps (Eg) for all the films prepared are decreased with increasing the thickness. Absorption and transmission spectra were used to find the optical constant including refractive index(n), extinction coefficient (k), imagenary and real part of dielectric constant (£i , £r), and it was found that all the optical constant was affected .

Five subsurface sections covering the entire length of the Jeribe Limestone Formation (Early Middle Miocene) were studied from four oilfields in northern Iraq. It is hoped to unravel this formation microfacies ; depositional environment; diagenetic attributes and their parental processes; and the relationship between these processes and the observed porosity patterns. Plantation of humic acid nanoparticles on the inert sand through simple impregnation to obtain the permeable reactive barrier (PRB) for treating of groundwater contaminated with copper and cadmium ions. The humic acid was extracted from sewage sludge which is byproduct of the wastewater treatment plant; so, this considers an application of sustainable development. In this work lactone (1) was prepared from the reaction of p-nitro phenyl hydrazine with ethylacetoacetate, which upon treatment with benzoyl chloride afforded the lactame (2). Chitinase-3-like 1 protein (YKL-40) is a glycoprotein primarily produced in the arthritic joint and plays a crucial role in inflammatory processes. The aim of the study is to establish the role of YKL-40 as a biomarker for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) compared to proinflammatory biomarkers and disease activity. The study included 58 patients and 18 control. Diseases activity score (DAS-28) and clinical disease activity index (CDAI) were measured.
