In this research , pure Cadmium Oxide thin films were prepared by thermal evaporation Under vacuum method , where pure cadmium metal was deposited on glass Substrate in Room temperature (300K) at thickness (400 ± 30) nm with Deposition rate(1.1 ± 0.1) nm/sec And then we oxidize a pure cadmium Film in Temperature ( 350ºC ) for one hour with existence air flow. This research contained study of the influence of doping process by Tin metal (Sn) with two different ratios (1,3) % at substrate temperature (473K ) on the some structural properties of pure Cadmium oxide films . X-Ray diffraction pattern showed that all prepared films ( undoped and Sn doped ) are polycrystalline and of cubic kind with preferred orientation along [111] plane for all doped And undoped films , and the average grain size would Decrease with apparent shape when The ratio of Sn dopant increases until (43nm) at ratio (3%) , also this research included a study of the influence of Sn dopant with a mentioned ratios on the some optical properties of pure CdO films, such as calculation of the value of optical energy gap to allow direct transition, and studied and calculated the absorption coefficient . The optical investigation showed that all films prepared ( undoped and Sn doped) have Absorption coefficient with a value larger than (α >10 4 cm-1) and this value was increased when the increase of the ratios of Sn dopant specially in the low photon energy The optical energy gap was founded equal to (2.15 eV) for pure Cadmium Oxide film and it will decrease when the ratio of Sn dopant increases until (1.925 eV) For ratio (3%) .

The work in this paper focuses on the experimental confirming of the losses in photonic crystal fibers (PCF) on the transmission of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. First HC-PCF was evacuated to 0.1 mbar then the microstructure fiber (PCF) was filled with He gas & gas. Second the input power and output power of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser was measured in hollow core photonic bandgap fiber (HCPCF). In this work loss was calculated in the hollow core photonic crystal fiber (HCPCF) filled with air then N2, and He gases respectively. It has bean observed that the minimum loss obtained in case of filling (HC-PCF) with He gas and its equal to 15.070 dB/km at operating wavelength (1040-1090) nm.

The effect of linear thermal stratification in stable stationary ambient fluid on free convective flow of a viscous incompressible fluid along a plane wall is numerically investigated in the present work. The governing equations of continuity, momentum and energy are solved numerically using finite difference method with Alternating Direct implicit Scheme. The velocity, temperature distributions
and the Nusselt number are discussed numerically for various values of physical parameters and presented through graphs. ANSYS program also used to solve the problem. ... Show MoreThe density functional B3LYP is used to investigate the effect of decorating the silver (Ag) atom on the sensing capability of an AlN nanotube (AlN-NT) in detecting thiophosgene (TP). There is a weak interaction between the pristine AlN-NT and TP with the sensing response (SR) of approximately 9.4. Decoration of the Ag atom into the structure of AlN-NT causes the adsorption energy of TP to decrease from − 6.2 to − 22.5 kcal/mol. Also, the corresponding SR increases significantly to 100.5. Moreover, the recovery time when TP is desorbed from the surface of the Ag-decorated AlN-NT (Ag@AlN-NT) is short, i.e., 24.9 s. The results show that Ag@AlN-NT can selectively detect TP among other gases, such as N2, O2, CO2, CO, and H2O.
