This study consist of using Metarhizium anisopliae as abioinsecticide against house fly
Musca domestica L. For controlling it biologicaly its Larvae were treated by sprying them
directly and sprying their food with 2.3 × 10
8
conidia / ml of Metarhizium anisopliae .
Infected Larve showed symptoms of slugishness and slow growth. Histopathological study of
the dead Larve showed Conidial adhesion and germ tube penetrations through body wall and
begining of fungus hyphal growth under the body wall and hyphal invasion in haemocoel and
gut.
Abstract
Endophytic fungi are gaining interest as sources of novel bioactive metabolites.
The study was carried out to screen and isolate endophytic fungus. An endophytic
fungus isolated from root of calyptous plant .The fungus was identified as
Stemphylium radicinum (Meier, Drechs and Eddy)based on morphological
characterization. Fungal secondary metabolites was carried out by ethyl acetate
solvent. The antibacterial activity was tested against five bacterial isolates.
Esherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumonia and
Streptococcus pyogenes by using a disc diffusion technique. The inhibition zones
exhibited by Fungal secondary metabolites were ranged between 22.5-35.5 mm.

This study aimed to obtain an isolate of a mold that has well characteristic for production of citric acid from raw materials available locally by solid-state fermentation and determination of the optimum conditions for production .Fourteen mold isolates producing acid were obtained from different sources, involved decayed fruits and soils. These isolates were subjected to initial qualitative screening followed by secondary quantitative screening In secondary screening a method combined between the submerged fermentation and solid-state fermentation was followed using a piece of sponge saturated by nutrients required for growth and production of acid. It was found that the isolate of A7 was the highest producer for citric acid tha

The present study deals with the morphological and histological aspects of the forebrain(Cerebrum) in the Columba livia domestica (Gmelin, 1789) to identify the histoarchitecture of its layers. This bird' has a large head found as perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The morphological results reveal that for brain (Cerebrum) pear shaped, its outer surface is smooth without folds or deep grooves. Cerebrum is made up of two regions, the Pallium and the Subpallium. The Cerebral cortex includes four layers of hyperpallium (Wulst) , Dorsolateral corticoid area (CDL), Hippocampus, Piriform cortex. The internal cortex of cerebrum consists of Dorsal Ventricle ridge which includes the mesopallium, nidopallium, and archospallium. All these reg

This description includes spines type, shaped and cephalopharyngeal skeleton. Furthermore the anterior and posterior spiracles were also studied.
The study aims to identify the third instar larvae of fly species (Order : Diptera) feeding on carcasses (Fishes and Rabbits). Two families (Calliphoridae and Sarcophagidae), were recorded with highest rate in Calliphoridae species. The following species had been registered in accordance with their prevalence respectively; Calliphora vicina Rob.-Desvoidy, Chrysomya albiceps (Wiedmann), Chrysomy megacephala (Fabricius), Sarcophaga sp. and Lucilia sericata (Meigen). The highest rate has been registered Calliphora vicina during February, November, December and January at rate 100%, the larvae of this fly have not been observed during July, August, September and October. The highest rate of Ch

Host plants of these leaf miners and P. cunicularia (Rondani) were identified: P. bicolor was found to be monophagous, whereas P. terbrans and P. cunicularia were oligophagous . It was found that Cirsixim syriaca and Silybum marianum were more susceptible to P. terbrans than the other ones. Infectivity and severity of infestation were estimated for most susceptible weeds against P. terbrans and P.bicolor. These leaf miners. Have two generations a year.
This work included external morphological study of horse fly Tabanus nemoralis Meig. 1820, which belongs to family Tabanidae order: Diptera. The study involved the most important taxonomic external characters of the: head, thorax, abdomen and their appendages which are: antenna, maxillary palp, wings, legs, spotting in coloring pattern of abdomen
