    In this work, animal bones with different shapes and sizes were used to study the characteristics of the ground penetrating Radar system wares reflected by these bones. These bones were buried underground in different depths and surrounding media. The resulting data showed that the detection of buried bones with the GPR technology is highly dependent upon the surrounding media that the bones were buried in. Humidity is the main source of signal loss in such application because humidity results in low signal-to-noise ratio which leads to inability to distinguish between the signal reflected by bones from that reflected by the dopes  in the media such as rock .

Corrosion inhibiting admixtures are unique among other methods to protect reinforced concrete from corrosion damage. In this study, the effect of furfural on the fresh and hardened properties of concrete mixes of 35 and 45 MPa compressive strengths as well as the corrosion inhibition of furfural was evaluated. Furfural was added at different dosages (1, 2 and 3% by weight of cement) with and without superplasticizer (HRWR). Different electrochemical measurements were performed (Half-cell potential, Tafel plot and linear polarization resistance). Brucellosis is possess a significant public health problem in Baghdad. In this study, we investigated the potential role of the PCR assay in detection of Brucella species, from patients suspect to have brucellosis, using blood samples in both human and animal. To establish a PCR technique for diagnosis of active brucellosis in our samples, DNA extraction was carried out using a commercial kit, and a laboratory extraction procedure. PCR amplification was done using 1 set of primers: B4/B5 for Brucella species. Extraction of Brucella DNA using the commercial kit was successful. Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a mycotoxin produced mainly by fungus Aspergillus flavus in food and feed . It is considered as a carcinogenic toxin for human and animals. The current study was designed for produce antibody (IgG) against aflatoxin B1.It was achieved by immunization of experimental animals (New Zealand White rabbits) with prepared antigen consist of aflatoxin B1-BSA Conjugate (100 and 200 μg ) concentrations, and detection of produced antibody using Ouchterlony double immunodiffusion and ELISA techniques,. Ochterlony and ELISA techniques revealed that, high titer of IgG antibody was obtained by rabbit’s immunize, and the titer of antibody was increased steadily during the immunization schedule.
