This work involves the synthesis and characterization of asymmetrical pyromellitdiimide
derivatives [IV]a-f
by four sequence steps selective reaction . One mole of pyromellitic dianhydride
was reacted with one mole of various primary aromatic amines [ 4-nitro aniline , 4-chloro aniline , 4-toludine and 4-anisidine] in excess of dry acetone to produce six compounds (N-substituted-pyromellitamic monoacid) [I]a-f . These new compounds [I]a-d were converted to the corresponding
N- substituted- pyromellitmonoimide [II]a-d via their heating at (80-90)
0
C in sodium acetate-acetic
anhydride mixture .
The compounds [II]a-f
were allowed to react with one mole of another primary amines in
excess of dry acetone to give new derivatives of amic acid [II]a-d followed by intramolecular
cyclization reaction of these compounds [IV]a-f in sodium acetate-acetic anhydride system to yield the
desired asymmetrical pyromellitdiimide derivatives [IV]a-f

The present work provides theoretical investigation of laser photoacoustic one dimensional imaging to detect a blood vessel or tumor embedded within normal tissue. The key task in photoacoustic imaging is to have acoustic signal that help to determine the size and location of the target object inside normal tissue. The analytical simulation used a spherical wave model representing target object (blood vessel or tumor) inside normal tissue. A computer program in MATLAB environment has been written to realize this simulation. This model generates time resolved acoustic wave signal that include both expansion and contraction parts of the wave. Cadmium Oxide thin films were deposited on glass substrate by spray pyrolysis technique at different temperatures (300,350,400, 500)oC. The optical properties of the films were studied in this work. The optical band-gap was determined from absorption spectra, it was found that the optical band-gap was within the range of (2.5-2.56)eV also width of localized states and another optical properties.
The preparation of tin metal from stannous chloride solution by wet method in the presence of aluminum powder as a reducing agent is studied. The preparation is commenced through a reduction step in the presence of reducing agent followed by smelting step at elevated temperature in a programmable electrical furnace. In the reduction step, preliminary experiments are conducted to study the effect of initial acidity, time of addition of the aluminum powder and excess amount of reducing agent on the conversion of stannous to tin metal. Three different parameters are studied through smelting step, these are : heating rate, temperature and residence time.

The pleomorphic adenoma is a benign salivary gland tumor, presenting usually in the parotid gland. This case report describes an unusual case of 29 years old female with a single, nodular swelling evident in the upper lip which was diagnosed as pleomorphic adenoma of the minor salivary glands in the upper lip .The lesion measured 1.0 x 1.0 cm in size for 2 years duration cause depression of labial cortical bone apical to lateral and canine teeth. It is characterized by slow growth. Complete excision was performed and the histopathological analysis supported by immunohistochemistry showed pleomorphic adenoma .It did not recur 18 months after operation.
