Possibility of Reducing the Thermal Conductivity of Ceramic Refractory Materials

The research work covers a study of the possibility of producing porous ceramic bodies
as a thermal insulators by adding fired Dechla kaolinite (grog)to the same non burned
kaolinite.
Different weight percentage ranged between (0,15,25,35and40)from grog and sawdust
passed through mesh 50 to Deuchla-clay kaolinit.Cylindrical shape samples (30mm diameter
and 30mm height) were prepared by the semi-dry methed,moulding pressure was 50 N/mm
2
.
After drying at 110
o
c,the samples were burnet in the furnace at temperatures
900,950,1000,1050,and 1100
o
c. The sawdust burnt out and leaves air spaces which contribute
to the high thermal insulation value.
The fired samples were investigated to determine bulk density , porosity, compressive
strength and the thermal conductivity .It was found that the increase of grog ratio produces a
decrease in bulk density ,compressive strength and thermal conductivity, but addition of
sawdust to the samples produces decrease greater than when addition the grog

The paper aims at investigating the content of particles and minerals of soft clay soil in the Mekong Delta coastal provinces, southern Vietnam, as well as improving soil stability using inorganic adhesives, i.e.lime and cement-based stabilization. To study the composition of soft clay soil, a series of different laboratory methods were carried out and revealed various characteristics related to mineral composition, pH value, soluble salt content, and grain particle composition of soft clay soils.    The Eurasian marsh frog Pelophylax ridibundus is a widespread species in Iraq. Examination of intestine of 25 marsh frogs collected in Al-Diwaniya city, middle of Iraq during the period from September to November 2014 revealed the presence of Nematotaenia dispar (Cestoda), Cosmocerca commutata and Cosmocercoides variabilis (Nematoda). Infection rates and intensity have been presented in this paper.

Effects of rotation and MHD on the Nonlinear Peristaltic Flow of a Jeffery Fluid in an Asymmetric Channel through a Porous Medium

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the top ten most common cancers worldwide. There are multiple risk factors for CRC, one of which is aging. However, in recent years, CRC has been reported in children. Objective: To describe the main characteristics and symptoms of CRC as well as highlight pathologic data for early-onset CRC. Methods: 79 CRC patients were recruited from the Oncology Teaching Hospital in the period February–December 2022. A questionnaire was used to collect demographic and clinical data.
