Students' passive listening to their teacher's reading is one of main
reasons behindtheir weakness in the reading skill which in its turn may
hinderachieving the in desired objectives.
When exploiting critical thinking, which will lead to deeper
understanding of the intellectual content, in learning and accurate and
correct students' outcomes.
Active listening allows paying attention to the speaker, asking him,
arguing with him, judging what he says, and making decision on what
he says. For this reason, the researcher felt the need for preforming a
study to identify the effect of critical listening on developing students'
critical thinking at reading in the Kurdish language department.

Bacteriological characteristics of Tigris river water were assessed monthly to monitor the impact of pollutants of Medical City waste water for the period from January to June-2013. Four stations were selected for the study, the first station placed before the Medical City Complex (500 meters). The second station represent Medical City sewage discharge into the river, where represents the study area. The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of the use of project-based learning in the development of intensive reading skills at middle school students. The experimental design was chosen from one group to suit the nature of the research and its objectives. The research group consisted of 35 students. For the purpose of the research, the following materials and tools were prepared: (List of intensive reading skills, intensive reading skills test, teacher's guide, student book).      The relationship between Al-Wand lake and groundwater was studied in Khanaqin cityby identifying water levels for Al-Wand lake and the shallow groundwater aquifer for 2019 and 2020. The hydrochemical analyses of Al-Wand river water, Al-Wand lake water and shallow groundwater, and identifying the grain size analysis and mineralogy of the surface sediments have been done. This relationship was adopted on climate data of the study area by knowing which seasons contained water surplus or water deficit, and  porosity and permeability define of soil that affects groundwater movement, and identify the salinity that effect on water quality.

The current study was conductedas a pot experiment to determine the effect of soil texture on biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) of six most efficient local isolates, specified, of Bradyrhizobium. Cowpea (Vignaunguiculata L.), as a legume host crop, was used as a host crop and 15N dilution analysis was used for accurate determination of the amount of N biologically fixed under experimental parameters specified. Influence of combined square nozzle with helical tape inserted in a constant heat flux tube on heat transfer enhancement for turbulent airflow for Reynolds number ranging from 7000 to 14500 were investigated experimentally. Three different pitch ratios for square nozzle (PR = 5.8, 7.7 and 11.6) according to three different numbers of square nozzle (N = 3, 4 and 5) and constant pitch ratios for helical tape were used. The results observed that the Nusselt number and friction factor for combination with winglets were found to be up to 33.8 % and 21.4 %, respectively higher than nozzle alone for pitch ratio PR=5.8. One suggestion was that these seeds are bio-transformed to sex hormones within the ovaries.
