In this study, a mathematical model for the kinetics of solute transport in liquid membrane systems (LMSs) has been formulated. This model merged the mechanisms of consecutive and reversible processes with a “semi-derived” diffusion expression, resulting in equations that describe solute concentrations in the three sections (donor, acceptor and membrane). These equations have been refined into linear forms, which are satisfying in the special conditions for simplification obtaining the important kinetic constants of the process experimentally.

The study included the determination of pollen grains features for 8 genera and 13 taxa of Mimosoideae subfamily grown in Baghdad/ Iraq by using each of light and scanning electron microscope. The samples of taxa were collected from various sites in Baghdad province in central Iraq located on 32 45° 0-33 45 0 N and 44 0 0- 44° 45 0 E. the results from this study revealed different pollen types as monad in each of Leucaena, Prosopis, and Neltuma, tetrad in Mimosa and polyads in Acacia, Albizia, Calliandra, Pithecellobium and Vachellia. In this paper, the species of the genus of Chlaenius Bonelli, 1810 (Coleoptera, Carabidae) were reviewed, and it was revealed that there are 21 confirmed species in Iraq; among them, the species of Chlaenius hamifer Chaudoir, 1856 was recorded for the first time in Iraq.
Diagnostic characters, a redescription of some of the morphological features, photographs and illustrations are provided for the new record species in this investigation.

A simple, sensitive, accurate and economic spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of sulfacetamide (SFA) in pure form, synthetic sample and urine. The laboratory experment was conducted to study the effect of H2O2 with 5ppm,10 ppm and Uric Acid with 5ppm,10 ppm concentration on seed germination and seedling growth of Zea Mays L.
The result showed that the H2O2 and Uric Acid effect significantly to increase percentage of seed germination , seedling vigor index,dry weight and proline concentration compared with control treatment ,given the concentration of each H2O2 and Uric Acid of the best result of seed germination 70.00%,76.00% and seedling vigor index 21.00%,26.00% and dry weight give in 5ppm to Uric Acid significantly increased 0.34%,the 10 ppm to H2O2 increased proline concentration in plant compared with control treatment

Some of the characters of the Staphylolysin A and D enzymes purified from Pseudomonas aeruginosa P16 and P5 respectively were studied, the molecular weights of Staphylolysin A and D were 20.417 kilo dalton and 23.988 kilo Dalton respectively by SDS- polyacryl amide gel electrophoresis. A study on solvent extraction of Tellurium with Anthranilic acid in

water has been made. The effect of different parameters such as type of medium, time of equilibration, concentration of metal ion, solvent polarity and effect of anions and  catins distribution  ratio of tellrim (IV) were evaluated.
