2-Amino-5-aryl- 1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid (A1-A3) were synthesized from the reaction of various aromatic aldehyde with dichloro acetic acid and thiourea. The synthesis of 2-[[(Saminosulfinim-idoyl)(aryl)methyl](benzoyl)amino]-5-aryl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid (A22-A30) was perfomed starting from (A1-A3) by two steps using Schiff's base (A4-A12) prepared from the reactant compounds (A1-A3) with different aromatic aldehyde. Finally two types of imide derivatives were obtained from reactant compounds (A1-A3) with malic anhydride (A31-A33) and phthalic anhydride (A34-A36) in the presence of glacial acetic acid. All proposed structures were supported by FT-IR and UV-Visible spectroscopic data.
This paper describes the development of a simple spectrophotometric determination of bismuth III with 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) in aqueous solution in the presence of cetypyridinium chloride surfactant at pH 5 which exhibits maximum absorption at 532 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the range 5-200 µg/25 mL. i.e. 0.2-8 ppm with a molar absorptivity of 3×104 l.mol-1.cm-1 and Sandell's sensitivity index of 0.0069 µg.cm-2. The method has been applied successfully in the determination of Bi (III) in waters and veterinary preparation.
This paper presents an alternative method for developing effective embedded optimized Runge-Kutta (RK) algorithms to solve oscillatory problems numerically. The embedded scheme approach has algebraic orders of 5 and 4. By transforming second-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs) into their first-order counterpart, the suggested approach solves first-order ODEs. The amplification error, phase-lag, and first derivative of the phase-lag are all nil in the embedded pair. The alternative method’s absolute stability is demonstrated. The numerical tests are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed approach in comparison to other RK approaches. The alternative approach outperforms the current RK methods

Furthermore 6-(5-(Aryl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)-2-methylphenol (5a-i) were formed at position six by two method. The first method was from cyclization their corresponding hydrazones (4a-e) of 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzohydrazide (1) using bromine in glacial acetic acid. The second method was from cyclization the hydrazide with aryl carboxylic acid in the presence of phosphorusoxy chloride. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized from their IR, NMR and mass spectra. The antioxidant properties of these compounds were screened by 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazide (DPPH) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay

Show More(4R)-2, 3-(2`-chloro-2`- carboxyl)-1, 3-dioxolano-4- (2- dimethyl –dioxolane -yl) ascorbic acid (HL), a derivative of L-ascorbic acid was prepared by the reaction of 5,6-O-isopropylidene–L-ascorbic acid with trichloroacetic acid in alkaline medium. Seven new metal ion complexes of this ligand (HL) were prepared through its direct reaction with the chlorides of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) ions respectively. The new ligand and its ion metal complexes were characterized applying elemental analyses,1H and 13C NMR, IR as well as UV-Visible spectra. Spectroscopic data showed that the ligand (C11H11O8Cl) was coordinated to the metal ions through the two oxygen atoms of the carboxyl group as abidentate ligan

The resulted Schiff base compounds were reacted with various nucleophiles in order to obtain new heterocyclic derivatives. Chemical structures of all products were confirmed by IR, 1H-, 13C-NMR spectral data and elemental analysis. All synthesized compounds were in vitro tested against a standard strain of pathogenic microorganism including Gram +ve bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), Gram –ve bacteria (Escherichia coli), and fungi (Candida albicans).
The present study envisaged utilizing 4-aminoantipyrine as key intermediate for the synthesis of some new derivatives bearing anti-bacterial and anti-cancer activities moieties viz., antipyrine diazenyl benzaldehydes 2(ad) which were obtained by coupling of diazotized 4-aminoantipyrine (1) with substituted benzaldehydes at 0◦C (iced) temperature. The other antipyrine derivatives where containing bis heterocycles like bis thiazolidinone-antipyrine (4), bis imidazolidinone -antipyrine (5) and bis azetidinone -antipyrine (6).These compounds were prepared through the reaction between 4- aminoantipyrine and terephthaldicarboxaldehyde to get (3) which were reacted with mercaptoacetic acid , glycine or chloroacetyl chloride separately to get com
