Comparative cytogenetic studies were carried out on males of two species of flour beetles, Rust flour beetle Tribolium castaneum and Confused flour beetle Tribolium confusum to investigate the karyotype. In these species, somatic chromosomes were arranged according to its length except the sex chromosomes. Results of this study showed that complete chromosomes karyotyping (2n) of T.castaneum equaled to twenty chromosomes ( 2n=20, XY ) whereas (2n) T.confusum equaled eighteen chromosomes ( 2n= 18,XY). In the two species the sex chromosome Y was the shortest chromosome and had length of average ± standard error in T.castaneum equaled to 1.500 ± 0.0 µm whereas in T.confusum equaled to 2.000± 0.0 µm. Based on chromosomal length measurement the chromosomes of T.confusum were longer than chromosomes of T.castaneum . The form of chromosomes in these species were described as metacentric chromosomes .
The present computational work is focused on investigating some properties of Gabor lens. The Gabor lens under consideration consists of two fields, electrostatic and magnetic. The Glaser field model is assumed to represent each field along the optical axis. Under zero magnification condition the trajectory of charged particles along the axis of Gabor lens has been computed. The results have shown that a lens of short focal length and hence high refractive power can be achieved

Swabs from two hospitals at Baghdad city were collected from the period 28-October-2013 to 31-March-2014, to found out the prevalence and distribution of fungi. These isolates were collected from hospitals' environment and most of the items used for hospital work in order to detect the nosocomial pathogens persistent. All fungal isolates were identified depending on the morphological and microscopic examinations as well as biochemical tests. This research had been conducted to investigate response of two Antirrhinum majus L. varieties, tall and dwarf variety to foliar application of Indole 3-acetic acid and Benzyladenin at (0, 60, 120, 180, 240 ppm), through plant height, fresh weight, dry weight of shoot, length of inflorescence (raceme), number of flowering buds per raceme and chlorophyll content in leaves at complete flowering stage.
