An experiment was conducted in pots with 4 Kg soil per pot in the green house of Biology department, College of Education (Ibn Al-Haithum), university of Baghdad, the growing season of (2008-2009), to study the effects of four levels of urea (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4) g/pot, that equivalent to (0, 100, 200 and 400) Kg/ha. Also three levels of superphosphate fertilizer (0.2, 0.1, and 0) g/pot, that equivalent to (200, 100, and 0) Kg/ha were added to the local yields components. Background: Osteoarthritis OA is the most common joint disorder in the world. Injection of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid intra-articular with steroid is a one of the used therapeutic option for patients with (OA)knee.

Objectives: Objective of this study was the evaluation the efficacy, safety, pluse duration of action of viscosupplementation of the  HMWHA( high molecular weight hyluranic acid ).

Type of the study: Cross-sectional study.

Methods: From 81 patients with sever knee pain due to OA (grades 3–4) were recruited from Al-Yarmouk teaching hospital  & a private clinic during the period from January 2014 till July 2016.

Ultrasonic absorption, velocity, viscosity, adiabatic compressibility, relaxation time and relaxation amplitude measurements are reported on different concentrations of poly(acrylic acid) solutions in common solvent water using pulsed ultrasonic apparatus technique operating at 26 kHz and 30 ºC. Results show an increase of velocity, viscosity, and absorption coefficient ،relaxation time and relaxation amplitude values with the increasing concentrations of the poly(acrylic acid) solutions, which might be the result of structural fluctuations of polymer molecules such as the segmental motions of the polymer chains.
