A quantum mechanical description of the dynamics of non-adiabatic electron transfer in metal/semiconductor interfaces can be achieved using simplified models of the system. For this system we can suppose two localized quantum states donor state |D› and acceptor state |A› respectively. Expression of rate constant of electron transfer for metal/semiconductor system derived upon quantum mechanical model and perturbation theory for transition between |ð·âŒª and |ð´âŒª state when the coupling matrix element coefficient is smaller than 0.025eV. The rate of electron transfer for Au/ ZnSe and Au/ZnS interface systems is evaluated with orientation free energy using a Matlap program. of wells at the above regions had been measured during the period from April to September
(2010).

Radiation measuring devices need to periodic calibration process to examine their sensitivity and the extent of the response. This study is used to evaluate the radiation doses of the workers in the laboratories of the Directorate of Safety as a result of the use of point sources in calibrating of the devices in two ways, the first is the direct measurement by the FAG device and the others using RESRAD and RAD PRO programs. The total doses values using FAG were (2.57 μSv/y, 102.3 μSv/y and 20.75 μSv/y for TLD laboratory, Gamma spectroscopy analyses (GSA) laboratory and equipment store respectively, and the total doses that calculated using RESRAD and RAD PRO were 1.518 μSv/y, 76.65 μSv/y and 21.2 μSv/y for the above laboratories. t

This paper presents comprehensive analysis and investigation for 1550nm and 1310nm ring optical modulators employing an electro-optic polymer infiltrated silicon-plasmonic hybrid phase shifter. The paper falls into two parts which introduce a theoretical modeling framework and performance assessment of these advanced modulators, respectively. In this part, analytical expressions are derived to characterize the coupling effect in the hybrid phase shifter, transmission function of the modulator, and modulator performance parameters.
