The Effect of Al2O3 Additives on Some Mechanical Properties of Un Saturated Polyester Resin

   This study included preparation for the unsaturated polyester samples before and after reinforced by the Alumina oxide powder of different volume fraction amounting (2%,4%,6%).    And this research included the study of some of mechanical properties such as (Hardness,compressive,wear).     The results showed that the increase of the hardness and compressive strength after the reinforced and the increase with the volume fraction increase.   As the wear test shows that the wear rate increases with applied load increase(5,10,15) from  (10.6-18.6) gm/cm befor reninforced and from(5.4-15.2)gm/cm,(4.7-12.9)gm/cm,(48.1)gm/cm,after reinforced from the different volume fraction, and the wear rate decrease with the volume fraction increase

Effect of V, In and Cu doping on properties of p-type ZnSe/Si heterojunction solar cell

The enhancement of ZnSe/Si Heterojunction by adding some elements (V, In and Cu) as impurities is the main goal because they contribute to the manufacturing of renewable energy equipment, such as solar cells. This paper describes the preparation of thin films ZnSe with V, In and Cu doped using thermal evaporation method with a vacuum of 10–5 Torr. The thin film was obtained from this work could be applied in heterojunction solar cell because of several advantages including high absorption coefficient value and direct band gap. Effect of Adding Coumarin Dye on Physical Properties of Blend (PC-PS) Film: Dye doped Blend polymer

Pure blend (PC-PS) and doped blend films with various volume ratio of Coumarin dye were prepared by using casting method. The absorption and transmission spectra for these films were measured using UV/VIS spectrometer technique in order to assessment the type of transition which was found to be indirect transition. The optical energy gap of pure PC was (4.24) eV, pure PS was (4.39) eV, Coumarin dye was (4.08) eV, and pure blend was (4.1) eV. After doping blend with Coumarin dye; the energy gap decreases by (0.06) eV in volume ratio (12) ml. The results showed that absorption coefficient and refractive index affects by doping. To test the effect of 4 levels of nitrogen (i.e. 0, 45, 90 and 135 Kg N ha-1) as urea (46% N) and 3 levels of phosphorus (i.e. 0, 17.5 and 35 Kg P ha-1) as triple superphosphate (21.8% P) on yield and concentration of dill (Anethum graveolens L. local cultivar) seed oil this experiment was carried out during winter season of 1999 - 2000 at the experimental field of Agriculture College, Abu-Ghraib.

Use of chickpea soaking water in dough fermentation and its effect on quality properties of loaf bread

This study was carried out to investigate the possibility of chickpea soaked water as a substitute for yeast in dough fermentation and its effects on sensory properties of the laboratory loaf bread. Chickpea was soaked for 24,48 and 72 hours at room temperature and used in proportion with or without yeast in dough fermentation . The results revealed that , as the percentage of soaked chickpea water substitution increased, the volume of the produced loaf bread decreased as compared with the control treatment (only yeast ).Best results were obtained by using soaked chickpea water for 24 hours in proportion of 1:1 soaked chickpea water : yeast regarding the sensory properties ,volume and leavening of the loaf bread.
