Synthesis and Study Medical Application of Nanocomposites Based on grafted Chitosan /Polyvinyl alcohol
...Show More Authors

In the present study, synthesis of bis Schiff base [I, II] by reaction of one mole of terephthalaldehyde with two mole of 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole or 4-amino benzene thiol in the ethanol absolute, then compounds [I,II]  were reacted with Na2CO3 of distilled H2O, then chloroacetic acid was added to yield compounds [III,IV]. O-chitosan derivatives [V,VI] were synthesized by reaction of chitosan with compounds [III,IV] in acidic media in distilled water according to the steps of Fischer. O–chitosan (grafted chitosan) [V,VI] was blended with synthetic polymer polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to produce polymers [VII,VIII], then these polymers were blended with nano: Gold or Silver by using a hotplate stirrer for 3 hours to produce nanocomposites [IX- XII]. The synthesized polymers were identified using spectral analysis techniques, including FTIR,1H-NMR, and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Molecular docking was studied, where operations are used to predict the binding status of compounds with the enzyme and to calculate the free energy (ΔG) of the prepared compounds. Finally, the study of biological activities was screened via two types of bacteria. Also, the anti-cancer activity against human lung adenocarcinoma cells (A549) was studied and compared with standard cell line [REF(R7540) Rat Embryonic Fibroblasts] of some of the blended polymers and nanocomposites, then the acute toxicity test of some nanocomposites was performed.

Different formula of bioagents (Rhizobium cicceri cp-93, Azospirillum sp.,
Pseudomonas fluorescence, Trichoderma harzianum ) used in this study as a
biofertilizer on wheat crop with two level of chemical fertilizer (0 and 12.5
kg/donm Dap) compared to 50kg/donm Dap (standard amount).the study carried out
in Iraq/Diyala –Alkhales during November 2014,results showed significant increase
in no. of spikes, no. of spikelet’s, length of spike ,Weight of 1000 seed and yield of
one m2 when adding (Rhizobium cicceri cp-93,Azospirillumsp+ Trichoderma
harzianum +12.5 kg/donm Dap) in comparison with the 50kg/donm Dap. Other
formulas recorded same results with the treatment 50kg/Donm Dap with not
significant differences

Evaluation of Inhibitory Efficiency for Some Aqueous and Alcoholic Extracts of Cumin, Fenugreek, Sweet Fennel and Black Cumin in Growth of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus Bacteria
...Show More Authors

A factorial experiment was conducted at the laboratories of the College of Agriculture – Kerbala University during 2016. The aim was inhibitory efficiency for some aqueous and alcoholic extracts of Cumin, Fenugreek, Sweet Fennel and Black cumin in growth of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Results of Lab the extracts alcoholic, Concentrations 10, and 20 μg/ml giving to the highest percentage of inhibition from water extracts for both types of bacteria. Alcoholic extract of cumin highest percentage inhibition and concentration reached 23 and 26 mm, respectively, for the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, while the bacteria Escherichia coli giving the alcoholic extract of the concentration of 20 μg/ml

Isolation and Identification of Endophytic Fungi from Aloe vera Leaves and Chemical Analysis of the Alcoholic Extract of the Leaves Using HPLC, GC, and GC-Mass Devices
...Show More Authors

The study's goals were to separate and identify endophytic fungi from Aloe vera leaves by looking at their morphology and molecules, as well as to find the chemical compounds in the leaf extract by using HPLC, GC, and GC-Mass instruments. The results showed that 53 endophytic fungi were isolated from a total of 120 pieces of A. vera leaves, with a total colonization rate of 44.16%. The fungus Aspergillus terreus had a colonization rate of 14.16%; Aspergillus niger had a colonization rate of 13.33%; Penicillium chermesinum demonstrated a colonization rate of 6.66%; Paecilomyces variotii had a colonization rate of 2.5%; Talaromyces radicus; and Aspergillus flavus achie

Investigation of Reservoir Flow Unit and Rock Types of Mishrif Formation in Amara Oil Field and Prediction of Performance
...Show More Authors

Amara oil field is located at south eastern Iraq in Missan governorate. The Mishrif Formation in Amara field is one of the most important reservoirs in southern Iraq. Identifying and characterizing petrophysical flow units are the key to understanding and improving reservoir description, exploitation, production and predicting the performance of carbonate reservoirs to represent them as combinations of different flow units, each with uniform pore throat size distribution and similar performance. Mishrif Formation in Amara oil field was divided into seven reservoir units (MA.MB11,MB12,MB13,MB21,MC1, and MC2) separated between them barrier beds. The present work is a reservoir flow unit identification for (MA) and (MB11) reservoir units of
