Abstract
Language is one of God’s blessings to human beings through which he
distingushed them from other creatures, then how if this language was arabic.
God honored this language and in which he descended his Gracious Boole
that gave it glory and magnificance, and made it an immortal revelation to the
arab nation in their poetry, oration, history and human tendency to the life of
knowledge, mind leadershipe, innovation and progress.

   This paper concerns is the preparation and characterization of a bidentate ligand [4-(5,5dimethyl-3-oxocyclohex-1-enylamino)-N-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl) benzene sulfonamide].  The ligand was prepared from fusing of sulfamethoxazole and dimedone at (140) ºC for half hour.              The complex was prepared by refluxing the ligand with a bivalent cobalt ion using ethanol as a solvent.  The gold fishes, Carasusius auratus infected with the fungus, Saprolegnia sp. were treated with different concentrations of Aqueous extracts of coriander , Coriandrun sativum seeds and Henna, Lawsonia inermis leaves by applying the dip method in a water bath for five minutes. This work describes the inhibition effect of different concentration of an aqueous extract of Peganum harmala seed on the corrosion of carbon steel in 3.5 % sodium chloride solution using potentiostatic polarization techniques at the temperature range of 25°C to 55°C. The result show that inhibition efficiency increased with increasing concentration of the inhibitor extracts and temperature. The adsorption of inhibitor on carbon steel surface was fit into Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters governing the corrosion and adsorption process were calculated and discussed.
