In this study, a new Azo ligand 5-((2-(1H-indol-2-yl)ethyl)diazinyl)-2-aminophenol is synthesized from a reaction of Tryptamine with 2-aminophenol. The ligand and their metal ion complexes Ni(II), Pd(II) , Pt(IV) and Au(III) have been synthesized and characterized by various analytical techniques, including elemental microanalysis, metal content, chloride-containing, measurement of electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectra (MS), and thermal analysis (TGA and DSC) curves. The DCS curve was used to calculate the thermodynamic parameters ΔH, ΔS, and ΔG. The characterization results promote the metal complexes of azo ligand structures. The results indicate that the ligand behaves as a trident N, N, and O donor ligand for each and every produced complex, and the molar conductivity of all complexes indicates that none of the complexes were electrolytes. The antioxidant activity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated and determined against the DPPH radical (1.1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) and compared to that of a standard natural antioxidant, gallic acid. The results show that the metal complexes are more effective at scavenging free radicals.
In this paper, we proved that if R is a prime ring, U be a nonzero Lie ideal of R , d be a nonzero (?,?)-derivation of R. Then if Ua?Z(R) (or aU?Z(R)) for a?R, then either or U is commutative Also, we assumed that Uis a ring to prove that: (i) If Ua?Z(R) (or aU?Z(R)) for a?R, then either a=0 or U is commutative. (ii) If ad(U)=0 (or d(U)a=0) for a?R, then either a=0 or U is commutative. (iii) If d is a homomorphism on U such that ad(U) ?Z(R)(or d(U)a?Z(R), then a=0 or U is commutative.
Ex-situ bioremediation of 2,4-D herbicide-contaminated soil was studied using a slurry bioreactor operate at aerobic conditions. The performance of the slurry bioreactor was tested for three types of soil (sand, sandy loam and clay) contaminated with different concentration of 2,4-D, 200,300and500mg/kg soil. Sewage sludge was used as an inexpensive source of microorganisms which is available in large quantities in wastewater treatment plants. The results show that all biodegradation experiments demonstrated a significant decreases in 2,4-D concentration in the tested soils. The degradation efficiency in the slurry bioreactor decreases as the initial concentration of 2,4-D in the soils increases.A 100 % removal was achieved at initial con

Show MoreRecently, with the development multimedia technologies and wireless telecommunication, Voice over Internet Protocol, becomes widely used in communication between connecting people, VoIP allows people that are connected to the local network or the Internet to make voice calls using digital connection instead of based on the analog traditional telephone network. The technologies of Internet doesn’t give any security mechanism and there is no way to guarntee that the voice streams will be transmitted over Internet or network have not been intercepted in between. In this paper, VoIP is developed using stream cipher algorithm and the chaotic cryptography for key generator. It is based on the chaotic maps for generating a one-time rando

Other cutaneous complications are local and systemic insulin allergy.
Patients and methods: The study included 150 patients with type1 diabetes mellitus attending thediabetic clinic of Children Welfare Teaching Hospital who were assessed for cutaneous
omplications of insulin therapy especially at the sites of the injections. Data collected evaluated using chi square and Pvalue.
Results: Out of 150 patients, the male to female ratio was 1:1.3, with mean age of 11.34 years
Background: The hepatitis G virus( HGV), also called hepatitis GB virus, as a member of the Flaviviridae family distantly related to hepatitis C virus (HCV), Little is known about the frequency of HGV infection, the nature of the illness, or how to prevent it. What is known is that transfused blood containing HGV has caused some cases of hepatitis. They infect humans, but are not known to cause human disease. This virus can be transmitted efficiently by blood transfusion and by other parenteral mechanisms. Transient and long lasting infections with HGV have been documented in man.
Patients and methods: HBs Ag, Anti-HCV IgG and Anti-HGV IgG were detected by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA).HCV RNA
Background: The liver is one of the most common organs
injured after blunt abdominal trauma. The control of severe
hemorrhage remains a problem.
Methods: One-hundred thirty-eight patients diagnosed as
liver injury between 09/2003 and 08/2006 had been evaluated
prospectively in Al- Kindy Teaching Hospital.
A distinction was made between hemodynamically stable and
unstable patients. Different modalities of surgical procedures
were done concentrating on perihepatic gauze packing.
Results: (60 out of 138) patients included in the study were
clinically evaluated as hemodynamically stable. The average
abbreviated injury severity score (ISS) was 25. Twenty
patients underwent abdominal surgery. In 12 of them
