    This research had been achieved using 2D seismic sections to study the presence of subsurface salty bodies in the Khashim Al-Ahmer, Galabat, Injana fields as a case study. The selected oil fields is located to the northeast of Baquba city within Diyala Governorate.

    The study aims to determine the salt accumulations of the selected fields and their role in the formation of oil traps.

    The interpretation of seismic data was focused on two reflectors Fatha and Jeribe Formations which belong to the lower and Middle Miocene. Theoretical calculations are achieved to study the effect of different deuterium pressures on various characteristics parameters for PF400J plasma focus using an international computer code.  Axial and radial velocities, voltage tube, plasma temperatures, and neutron yields at different operating deuterium pressures are computed. Neutron emission has been calculated in the device.  The maximum total neutron yield calculated is of the order of  and  neutrons per shot for entire pressure used. The computed results agree reasonably well with the published neutron yield curves.

   A potentiostatic study for the corrosion of pure zinc in 0.01 M HCl was achieved in absence and presence of (linear alkylbenzene solfonate LAS) detergents in a range of concentrations (0-50) mg/L. The dose rate for bremsstrahlung radiation from beta particles with energy (1.710) MeV and (2.28) MeV which comes from (32P and 90Y) beta source respectively have been calculated through six materials (polyethylene, wood, aluminum, iron, tungsten and lead) for first shielding material with thickness (x=1) mm which are putting between beta sources and second shield (polyethylene, aluminum and lead) with thickness (1, 2 &4) mm have been calculated.
