In this study, the stable isotop 18O and 2H has been used to investigate the interaction of surface water (SW), and groundwater (GW) in Al-Taji district/ Northern Baghdad for two seasons (March and August 2022). 16 Samples were collected from water resources in the Al-Taji district (Tigris channel, Tigris River, and groundwater), in each season water samples from 8 Tigris channel, 5 drilled wells, and 3 Tigris River were taken for the analysis of the isotopes 18O and 2H. This study includes isolation, purification, and identification of algae from the canal around Baghdad university Al-jadriah. Four unialgal cultures were obtained. These algal cultures included 3 species of cyanophyta ( Nostoc carneum, Westillopesis prolifica, Chroococcus turgidus), 1 species of chlorophyta (Chlorella vulgaris) . Different plants belonging to different families were collected and extracted for their oils which were Ricinus communis and Sesamum indicum (seeds), Matricaria chamomilla (flowers) .However, antialgal activity of the extracted oils were evaluated the isolated algae with 7 concentrations (0.09, 0.3, 0.5, 1, 10, 20 , 30) % using the agar wells diffusion method.      Since oil is the primary source of vanadium in the environment and crude oil has a correspondingly high percentage of vanadium. Vanadium is crucial as a sign of oil contamination. Twenty soil samples were taken from various locations surrounding the East Baghdad oil field in Iraq during February 2022 and then analyzed to determine the effects of industrialization along with urbanization-related pollutants. The soil samples were analyzed using spectrophotometry analysis. In soil samples taken from the research area, vanadium concentrations range from (0.26 to 1.2 ppm). The contamination (CF), geoaccumulation (Igeo) and Enrichment factors (EF) indicated that all the soil samples are uncontaminated.
