The thermal maturity ,  burial history and petroleum generation history of  four oil wells selected  from four oil fields in Southern Iraq, they are: Nasiriyah(Ns-1 well) , Gharraf (GA-5well) ,Abu Ammood (Ab-1well) and Riffai (Ri-1well) have been studied using 1D basin and petroleum systems modeling. Results showed  different period of subsidence, which ranges from high to moderate subsidence, occurred at upper Jurassic to Mid-Cretaceous and slow subsidence in Miocene  . The present study aimed to determine the effect of aluminum potassium sulfate addition into the soft liner on tensile strength and peel bond strength. The effect of aluminum potassium sulfate evaluated by two methods, first one include incorporation of KAL (SO4)2 into soft liner monomer in concentration (2%,3% by wt.) while the second method include immersion of soft liner specimens in solution of KAL(SO4)2 in concentration(5%,10% percent) during time periods (0,10 minutes). Many problems were encountered during the drilling operations in Zubair oilfield. Stuckpipe, wellbore instability, breakouts and washouts, which increased the critical limits problems, were observed in many wells in this field, therefore an extra non-productive time added to the total drilling time, which will lead to an extra cost spent. A 1D Mechanical Earth Model (1D MEM) was built to suggest many solutions to such types of problems. An overpressured zone is noticed and an alternative mud weigh window is predicted depending on the results of the 1D MEM. The system utilizes the phenomenon of electromechanical switch bounce to produce a randomly fluctuated signal that is used to trigger a counter to generate a binary random number.
