The purpose of this project is to build a scientific base and computational programs in an accelerator design work. The transfer of group of laws in alinear accelerator cavity to computer codes written in Fortran power station language is inorder to get a numerical calculation of an electromagnetic field generated in the cavities of the linear accelerator. The program in put contains mainly the following, the geometrical cavity constant, and the triangular finite element method high – order polynomial. The out put contains vertical and horizontal components of the electrical field together with the electrical and the magnetic field intensity. 

This research aims to improve the radiation shielding properties of polymer-based materials by mixing PVC with locally available building materials. Specifically, two key parameters of fast neutron attenuation (removal cross-section and half-value layer) were studied for composite materials comprising PVC reinforced with common building materials (cement, sand, gypsum and marble) in different proportions (10%, 30% and 50% by weight). To assess their effectiveness as protection against fast neutrons, the macroscopic neutron cross-section was calculated for each composite. Design of experiments (DOE) was made by Minitab software for the study of three factors used in the precipitation process of the Sodium Aluminate solution prepared from digestion of α-Al₂O₃  to determine the optimum conditions to a produce Boehmite which is used in production of ɤ-Al₂O₃ during drying and calcination processes, the factors are; the temperature of the sodium aluminate solution, concentration of HCl acid added for the precipitation and the pH of the solution at which the precipitation was ended. Verapamil Hydrochloride (VH) has been determined spectrophotometrically by using Methyl Orange (MO).  In our previous researches MO was used for determination of Mexiletine Hydrochloride [1]. The method was based on complexation between (MO and VH).  After shaking and diluting the complex solution with D.W, the pH was adjusted with NaOH and HCl to pH 4. The colored complex formed between VH and the reagents were transferred into separating funnels and extracted using 4.5 ml CH2Cl2 and were shaken for (4 minutes).  The extracted organic layer was used for the preparation of the calibration curves for spectrophotometric measurements of VH at 437nm.  The blanks were carried out in exactly the same way throughout the whol
