Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M  an unitary R-module. Let (M)  be the set of all submodules of M, and : (M)  (M)  {} be a function. We say that a proper submodule P of M is end--prime if for each   EndR(M) and x  M, if (x)  P, then either x  P + (P) or (M)  P + (P). Some of the properties of this concept will be investigated. Some characterizations of end--prime submodules will be given, and we show that under some assumtions prime submodules and end--prime submodules are coincide.

Background: Beta-thalassemia major is the most common monogenic known disorder in the Middle East, characterized by anomalies in the synthesis of the beta chains of hemoglobin resulting in variable phenotypes ranging from severe anemia to clinically asymptomatic Individuals. This study aimed to evaluate salivary flow rate and salivary IgA in β-thalassemia major patients. Since many oral and systemic conditions manifest themselves as changes in the flow and composition of saliva the dental practitioner is advised to remain up-to-date with this issue.          This is a contribution to study the situation of a dwelling of previous case of kala- azar in the endemic area (AL-Mahmodiya/ AL-Rasheed district) about 25 km south of Baghdad.  In order to assess the possible ecological causes of the incidence and the prevalence of visceral leishmaniasis, in one of the well-known foci of the disease in the central region of Iraq. It was found that the human dwelling position and ecological factors affect the infection with this disease.

     This paper concerned with estimation reliability (­ for K components parallel system of the stress-strength model with non-identical components which is subjected to a common stress, when the stress and strength follow the Generalized Exponential Distribution (GED) with unknown shape parameter α and the known scale parameter θ (θ=1) to be common. Different shrinkage estimation methods will be considered to estimate ­ depending on maximum likelihood estimator and prior estimates based on simulation using mean squared error (MSE) criteria. The study approved that the shrinkage estimation using shrinkage weight function was the best.

      From September 2002 to August 2003 monthly samples of fish were collected from two stations at the area of study.         The results of the present study showed that the sex-ratio (male: female) was 1:0.95.       Sexual maturity was reached by all fishes above 28 cm in total length , the smallest mature male was 21.3 cm in total length and body weight 164 gm.   In this paper we introduced the concept of 2-pure submodules as a generalization of pure submodules, we study some of its basic properties and by using this concept we define the class of 2-regular modules, where an R-module M is called 2-regular module if every submodule is 2-pure submodule. Many results about this concept are given.

In this paper  we study  the concepts of  essentially quasi-invertible submodules and essentially  quasi-Dedekind modules  as  a generalization of  quasi-invertible submodules and quasi-Dedekind  modules  . Among the results that we obtain is the following : M  is an essentially  quasi-Dedekind  module if and only if M is aK-nonsingular module,where a module M is K-nonsingular if, for each  , Kerf ≤_e M   implies   f = 0 .
