The experiment was conducted in the glass house in a nursery at the growth season 2013.The experiment was designed by the Completely Randomized Blocks Design(CRBD).The seeds of two varieties of eggplant were studied.They were : 1.Lot (Number)Melaneana an American species,2.Aydinsiyah a Turkish species.We used three periods of water stress(1,8 ,16)days respectively, and three concentrations of proline acid (0,50,100) ppm using three frequents for each treatment.The experiment contained 54 experimental unit.The seeds were planted on the 30th/8/2013 in the glass house of the nursery, a month later, we put the plantelet in pots with good fertilized soil in the glass house.Some growth features were studied (the height of the root and shoot system,dry weight for the leaf area and leaves number).The results showed a significant increase in some of the morphological features in the American spiecies (the dry weigh rate in the shoot and root system, the number of leaves rate and the leaf area) as they were compared to the Turkish variety and water stress for (8)days and spraying with the proline acid at concentration 50ppm for all trearments.
This research involves the synthesis of some sulphanyl benzimidazole derivatives (Ia-c), which were prepared from reaction of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole substituted benzyl halide, and structures were identified by spectral methods[FTIR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR].These compounds were investigated as corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in 1M H2SO4 solution using weight loss, potentiostatic polarization methods; obtained results showed that the sulphanyl benzimidazole derivatives retard both cathodic and anodic reactions in acidic media, by virtue of adsorption on the carbon steel surface. In present study the effect of soil extracts of different types of soil on ability of two clinical isolates, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus to form biofilm. The extract of soil was done by using sterile phosphate buffer saline and analyzed by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic (FTIR). Spectrophotometric method was used to check ability of the studied isolated bacteria to form biofilm on polystyrene microtiter plates. The data of FTIR showed very little difference was observed among extracts of three types of soil (soil contaminated with hydrocarbons; garden soil collected from gardens of al-jadrea, Baghdad and containers soil), but the highest difference was observed in the extract obtained from peat moss clay soil.

L-arabinose isomerase from Escherichia coli O157:H7 Was immobilized with activated Bentonite from local markets of Baghdad, Iraq by 10% 3-APTES and treated with 10% aqueous glutaraldehyde, the results refer that the yield of immobilization was 89%, and pH profile of free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase was 7 and 7.5 and it is stable at 6-8 for 60 min respectively, while, the optimum temperature was 30 and 35°C and it was stable at 35 and 40°C for 60 min but it loses more than 60 and 30% from its original activity at 50°C for free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase respectively.
