1,3,4-oxadiazole [IV]. Series of Schiff s bases [V]n were synthesized by the condensation of compound [IV] with 4-n-alkoxy benzaldehyde in the presence of glacial acetic acid. Condensation of compounds [VI]n. with adipoyl chloride in dry pyridine leads to the formation of a new homologous series [VI]n. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by physical and spectral means The new compounds [VI]n have been screened for their antibacterial activities . The results showed considerable antibacterial
activity against Escherichia Coli (G-),but did not show any antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (G+)

In this research various of 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole (Schiff base, oxo-thiazolidine , and other compounds) were synthesized from 2,5-di(4,4?- amino-1,3,4-oxadiazole ) which use quently synthesized from mixture of 4-amino benzoic acid and hydrazine in the presence of polyphosphorus acid. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are drugs that help reduce inflammation, which often helps to relieve pain. In this research new ibuprofen oxothiazolidnone derivatives were synthesized from the reaction of Schiff base derivatives of Ibuprofen with mercapto acetic acid VI a-c, to improve the potency and to decrease the drug's potential side effects, a new series of 4-thiazolidinone derivatives of ibuprofen was synthesized VI a-c . The characterizations of the compounds were identified by using FTIR, 1HNMR technique and by measuring the physical properties.

A new series of metal ions complexes of VO(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Ce(III) have been synthesized from the Schiff bases (4-chlorobenzylidene)-urea amine (L1) and (4-bromobenzylidene)-urea amine (L2). Structural features were obtained from their elemental microanalyses, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductance, FT-IR, UV–Vis, LC-Mass and 1HNMR spectral studies. Nine new compounds of 2-amino-5-chlorobenzothiazole derivatives were synthesized. The present study aimed to explore the antibacterial and antibiofilm activity of flaxseed oil on some locally isolated bacterial pathogens. No inhibitory effect was noticed against Escherichia coli or Enterococcus faecalis. However, variable effects were developed against Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), Klebsiella pneuminae and Staphylococcus epidermidis. The flaxseed exhibited antibiofilm activity against all tested bacterial isolates (MSSA, MRSA, S. epidermidis and K. pneumoniae) and showed various degrees of inhibition against them.
