Seven strains of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. vicide were isolated
and purified from the root nodules of faba bean (Viciae faba) plants
collected from different agroclimatic locations in Baghdad and Diyala
provinces of Iraq. Screening of these strains gives four salinity tolernat strains which tolerate 1-5% sodium chloride supplement mannitol to salt yeast extract (M Y) medium. Colony forming units for the four tolerant strains under stress conditions were significantly reduced in comparison with those under normal conditions. Different tests were used to study the surface properties of stress tolerant strains under normal and stress conditions. No differences were found in the production of lipopolysaccharides (LPS), β (1 → 3) glucan and cellulose fibrils under stress and normal conditions. Symbiotic
properties of stress tolerant strains were studied by inoculating the
respective host plants with these strains. Strain NIMA1 was found to
be most efficient in symbiotic nitrogen fixation. No nodulation was
observed under stress condition.

In this study a type of polymeric composites from melting poly propylene as a basic substance with Palm fronds powder were prepared. This work aims to enhance acoustic and thermal insulation properties for polymeric composite by adding nanoclay and rock wool as reinforcement materials with different rations. A polymer blend of (epoxy+ polyester) as matrix materials was used. The Hand lay-up technique was used to manufacture the castings. In addition, necessary investigations are affirmed for the new generalized beta function, including, Mellin transform, differential formulas, integral representations, and essential summation relations. Furthermore, crucial statistical application has been realized for the new generalized beta function.
Adsorption studies were performed at different initial Tetracycline (TC) and Amoxicillin (AMO) concentration, different biomass dosage and type, contact time, agitation speed, and initial pH. In the batch mode were investigated. The optimum pH of solutions is 6.5 for TC and 5 for AMO, agitation speed 200 rpm and concentration 50 ppm. The results in FTIR showed that there were -OH and amides (N-H) and other functional groups on the surface of Cladophora and Spirulina algae. The equilibrium isotherm data were modeled with Freundlich, Temkin, and Langmuir isotherm models. The data best fitted with the Langmuir model.
