Proposed A Permutation and Substitution Methods of Serpent Block Cipher

Block cipher technique is one of cryptography techniques to encrypt data block by block. The Serpent is one of AES candidates. It encrypts a 128-bit block by using 32 rounds of a similar calculation utilizing permutations and substitutions. Since the permutations and substitutions of it are static. Then this paper proposes dynamic methods for permutation, substitution and key generation based on chaotic maps to get more security. The proposed methods are analyzed and the results showed that they were able to exceed the weakness resulting from the use of static permutations and substitutions boxes in the original algorithm and also can reduce number of rounds and time usage compared with a classical Serpent block cipher algorithm

A Hybrid Algorithms Based on the Aizawa Attractor and Rabbit-Lightweight Cipher for Image Encryption

Social media and networks rely heavily on images. Those images should be distributed in a private manner. Image encryption is therefore one of the most crucial components of cyber security. In the present study, an effective image encryption technique is developed that combines the Rabbit Algorithm, a simple algorithm, with the Attractor of Aizawa, a chaotic map. The lightweight encryption algorithm (Rabbit Algorithm), which is a 3D dynamic system, is made more secure by the Attractor of Aizawa. The process separates color images into blocks by first dividing them into bands of red, green, and blue (RGB). The presented approach generates multiple keys, or sequences, based on the initial parameters and conditions, which are

Adaptation Proposed Methods for Handling Imbalanced Datasets based on Over-Sampling Technique

Classification of imbalanced data is an important issue. Many algorithms have been developed for classification, such as Back Propagation (BP) neural networks, decision tree, Bayesian networks etc., and have been used repeatedly in many fields. These algorithms speak of the problem of imbalanced data, where there are situations that belong to more classes than others. Imbalanced data result in poor performance and bias to a class without other classes. In this paper, we proposed three techniques based on the Over-Sampling (O.S.) technique for processing imbalanced dataset and redistributing it and converting it into balanced dataset. These techniques are (Improved Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (Improved SMOTE),  Border

Resultant Graphs of Block Designs

In this paper we have made different regular graphs by using block designs. In one of our applicable methods, first we have changed symmetric block designs into new block designs by using a method called a union method. Then we have made various regular graphs from each of them. For symmetric block designs with  (which is named finite projective geometry), this method leads to infinite class of regular graphs. With some examples we will show that these graphs can be strongly regular or semi-strongly regular. We have also propounded this conjecture that if two semi-symmetric block designs are non-isomorphic, then the resultant block graphs of them are non-isomorphic, too.

(Energy alternatives and the possibility of substitution)

Many of the signs that the global energy system indicate the start of a period of transition from total dependence on fossil energy sources, especially oil, into a new era in which alternative energy sources play an important role in meeting the growing needs of energy demand, so sought many of the developed countries through research the studies carried out to try to bring renewable energy sources and non-renewable (shale oil, oil sands, solar energy, wind energy .... etc) replace traditional fossil energy sources (oil, gas, coal) and despite the recent availability dramatically and spread throughout the the world, but they are going to dry up in the foreseeable future. So many countries, especially the developed sought to find

Fractal Image Compression Using Block Indexing Technique: A Review

Fractal image compression depends on representing an image using affine transformations. The main concern for researches in the discipline of fractal image compression (FIC) algorithm is to decrease encoding time needed to compress image data. The basic technique is that each portion of the image is similar to other portions of the same image. In this process, there are many models that were developed. The presence of fractals was initially noticed and handled using Iterated Function System (IFS); that is used for encoding images. In this paper, a review of fractal image compression is discussed with its variants along with other techniques. A summarized review of contributions is achieved to determine the fulfillment of fractal ima

VoIP Speech Encryption System Using Stream Cipher with Chaotic Key Generator

Recently, with the development multimedia technologies and wireless telecommunication, Voice over Internet Protocol, becomes widely used in communication between connecting people, VoIP allows people that are connected to the local network or the Internet to make voice calls using digital connection instead of based on the analog traditional telephone network. The technologies of Internet doesn’t give any security mechanism and there is no way to guarntee that the voice streams will be transmitted over Internet or network have not been intercepted in between. In this paper, VoIP is developed using stream cipher algorithm and the chaotic cryptography for key generator. It is based on the chaotic maps for generating a one-time rando

A Proposed Algorithm for Steganography

Steganography is an important class of security which is widely used in computer and network security nowadays. In this research, a new proposed algorithm was introduced with a new concept of dealing with steganography as an algorithmic secret key technique similar to stream cipher cryptographic system. The proposed algorithm is a secret key system suggested to be used in communications for messages transmission steganography
