The experiment was condncted in greenhouse of Botanical Garden at Biology Garden Dept,College of Education for Pure Science (Ibn-Al-Haitham),University of Baghdad , during the growing season 2013-2014 to study the role of salcylic acid in three concentrations (0.12and24) ppm and two levels of NPKZn fertilizer ( 0. 160) kg.H‾1 and four concentrations of sodium chloride (0.50.100and150) Mmol and the intreaction between salcylic acid and NPKZn on some of morphological parameters of Allium cepa. The experiment was performed with random compelete block design (RCBD)with three replications and the results showed the following 1-The sparying of salcylic acid led to aignificant increase in all parameters compared with control treatment . 2-Treatment with two levels of NPKZn fertilizer caused a significant increase in all parameters 3-The interaction between salcylic acid and NPKZn fertilizer led to increase all parameters and the treated plants with 24 ppm showed the highest influence.

Therefore, the current study was aimed to detect toxoplasmosis infections among of volunteers students as well as spreading health awareness among students and knowledge about the importance of this disease. Prevalence rate and effects of liver functions were tested by measured levels of Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) enzymes while the OnSiteToxo IgG/IgM combo rapid test was used in the diagnosis of the disease. The content of Furocoumarin derivatives (Psoralens) of Ruta Chalepensis L. (Whole plant) was studied by simple extraction with petroleum ether (b.p. 60-80Co). The results indicated that the plant contains a total of about (0.015%).
Investigation of these compounds by thin layer chromatography (TLC) revealed the presence of at least four compounds of which methoxsalen (8-methoxypsoralen) was isolated. It was identified and authenticated with a standard by spectral method, IR, NMR, Mass spectra and HPLC.This plant could be considered as a good source for supplying this compound, which is widely used in dermatological preparations.
Chemical analysis for evaluation of Nigella sativa L. (black cumin) seeds showed a composition of Fat 39% ; Protein 28% ; Carbohydrate 21% ; Moisture 6% and Ash 4.5% . It was found that the black seed contains the following mineral element : Magnesium 0.26 gm /100gm seed ; Calcium 0.25 gm /100gm seed and Iron 25 ?g / gm /100gm seed ; zinc 4.51?g /gm /100gm seed and Copper 3.60 ?g /gm /100gm seed. The analysis also showed that mineral element I. e. ; lead ; Cobalt ; Nickel ; Chrom ; Cadmium and Aresenic are not present . It was found that the fat of the black seed contains the following fatty acids : Myristic 2.8%; Palmtic 16.6%; Stearic 0.8 % ; Oleic 13.79% ; Linoleic 64.2% and Arachidic 1.9% .
