Tridentate Schiff base ligand L2 and its complexes with nickel(II), cobalt (II), copper (II), manganese (II) and mercury (II) ions have been synthesized by the condensation of 4Aminoantipyrine, Benzoin, then the ligand (L1) and 3-amino benzoic acid. The ligand and its complexes were described by 1H-&13C-NMR, UV-visible, FT-IR, (only ligand), molar conductance elemental, analysis and magnetic susceptibility, calculations. It has been set that the ligand acts as (N, N, O) neutral tridentate forming chelates with stoichimetry (metal: ligand) (1:1). all metal complexes is suggested Octahedral configuration. Most of the prepared compounds show antibacterial activity to (Staphylococcus aureus),(Escherichia coli), (Bacillussubtilis) and (Pseudomonas aeroginosa).

The aim of this research is to determine the concentrations of uranium in human blood in some regions of Baghdad governorate and to determine the level of contamination with uranium for these regions during the (2003) war. The results obtained have shown that the maximum uranium concentration in blood samples was found (0.256 ppm) in AL-Zaifranea region and AL-Sader city,while the minimum in AL-Shab region (0.052 ppm) ,the minimum of uranium concentration in the blood samples was found to be (0.008 ppm) (male,39 years old) lived in AL-Shab region, while the maximum of uranium concentration in the blood samples was found to be (0.44 ppm) (female, 55 years old ) lived in AL-Sader city.
The extraction behaviour of a secondary amine (Dioctylamine) and a combination of secondary amine and tertiary amine (Tricapryl amine) toward some of the metal ions were investigated. Two types of diluents were applied, namely, mesitylene and treated Kerosene fraction. The extractability of dioctylamine and different combinations of tertiary amine and secondary amine toward uranium were investigated. The distribution coefficients and the separataion factors of uranium from the metal ions were calculated.

The new 1,3-oxazepine derivative [II] was obtained by Diels- Alder reaction of Schiff base [I] with phthalic anhydride in dry benzene. The reaction of Schiff base [I] with thioglycolic acid in dry benzene led to the formation of thiazolidin-4-one derivative [III]. This paper focus on study the variations of monthly tropospheric NO2 concentrations over three Iraqi cities Baghdad (33.3° N, 44.4° E), Basrah (30.56° N, 47.8° E) and Erbil (36.3° N, 44.06° E). Monthly NO2 retrievals from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) onboard Aura satellite during the period from October 2004 to March 2013 have been used. The results show a high monthly and annual NO2 concentrations at Baghdad than Basra and Erbil may be attribute to high densely populations and a high economic activity. A laboratory experiment was carried out and repeated at field of College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad in 2017. First factor was three cultivars of lupine 'Giza-1', 'Giza-2' and 'Hamburg'. Second factor was three seed weights (lower weight, medium weight and higher weight) which was following the cultivars factor. Nested design was used. Results showed supremacy of 'Giza-1' cultivar significantly and gave higher germination ratio, radical length, seedling dry weight, seedling vigour index, field emergence ratio, plant height and number of leaves per plant.
