Synthesis , Characterization and Study of Biological Activity of Some New Schiff Bases ,1,3-Oxazepine and Tetrazole Derived from 2,2 di thiophenyl Acetic Acid

         In this study  new  derivatives  of  Schiff bases 5-8 , 1,3- oxazepine  9-16 and tetrazoles 17-19 have  been synthesized from the new starting  material 1 which has  synthesized  the reaction of  one mole of dichloro acetic acid and two moles of  thiophenol , the esters  2-3 were synthesized from the reaction of  compound 1 with methanol or ethanol respectively  in the presence of  H2SO4  as  catalyst  then 2,2-dithiophenylaceto Hydrazide  4 were synthesized from the reaction of  2 or 3 with hydrazine hydrate  80 % , Schiff bases 5-8 were  synthesized from the reaction of  4 with appropriate aldehyde or ketone .Treatment  of  Schiff bases with maleic and phathalic  anhydride in dry benzene to give 1,3-oxazepen derivatives  9-16 and with sodium azide in tetrahydrofuran (THF) afforded  tetrazole derivatives 17-19. All these compounds have been characterized from their melting pointes, FTIR , 1HNMR and compounds 1,5 and 18 by mass spectrometry . Derivatives 6,7,11,16,17 and 18 were tested against inhibition of E.coli and. Staphylococcus- aureus and were all funds to be active. Scheme (1).

New ligand of N-(pyrimidin-2-yl carbamothioyl)acetamide was synthesized and its complexes with (VO(II), Mn (II), Cu (II), Zn (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) are formed with confirmation of their structures on the bases of spectroscopic analyses. Antimicrobial activity of new complexes are studied against Gram positive S. aureus and Gram negative E. coli, Proteus, Pseudomonas. The octahedral geometrical structures are proved depending on the outcomes from the preceding procedures. Keywords: pyrimidin-2-amine, acetyl isothiocyanate, complexes, Antimicrobial activity

Synthesis of Mixed Ligand Complexes of M(II) Dithiocarbamato Derivative and 2,2'-bipyridyl and Study their Cytotoxic Effect Against HepG2 Cell Line in vitro

Mixed ligand of Co and Ni (II) complexes were prepared from [5-(p-nitrophenyl)-4/-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-3-dithiocarbamato hydrazide](TRZ.DTC) as primary ligand and 2,2'-bipyridyl (bipy) as a co-ligand with metal salts. These complexes were analytically and spectroscopically characterized in solid state by elemental analyses, flame atomic absorption, magnetic susceptibility and molar conductance measurements, as well as by UV–Vis and FTIR spectroscopy. Synthesis and Characterization of New Fused Heterocyclic Compounds Consisting of Benzodiazepine, Quinoxaline, Benzimidazole and Thiazole Rings

In this study, new heterocyclic compounds were synthesized through the cyclization reactions of o-phenylenediamine (1) with various organic reagents. Benzodiazepine derivatives (2-4) were obtained by reaction of (1) with ethylacetoacetate, malonic acid and acetyl acetone.Treatment of compound (1) with chloroacetamide, chloroacetic acid, p-bromophenacyl bromide and oxalic acid dihydrate afforded quinoxaline derivatives (5-8), respectively. Reaction of compound (1) with benzoic acid, piperonal, cyclohexanone and carbon disulfide resulted in the formation of compounds (9-12), respectively. Finally, reaction of compound (12) with chloroacetic acid in the presence of potassium hydroxide produced compound (13).

Biogenesis Synthesis of ZnO NPs: Its adsorption and photocatalytic activity for removal of acid black 210 dye

Abstract This study investigated the treatment of textile wastewater contaminated with Acid Black 210 dye (AB210) using zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) through adsorption and photocatalytic techniques. ZnO NPs were synthesized using a green synthesis process involving eucalyptus leaves as reducing and capping agents. The synthesized ZnO NPs were characterized using UV-Vis spectroscopy, SEM, EDAX, XRD, BET, Zeta potential, and FTIR techniques. The BET analysis revealed a specific surface area and total pore volume of 26.318 m2/g. SEM images confirmed the crystalline and spherical nature of the particles, with a particle size of 73.4 nm. Synthesis and Characterization of Heterocyclic Seven Membered Rings from 2,3-Pyridine caroboxylic anhydride

Various types of heterocyclic seven membered rings were prepared from the reaction of 2,3Pyridine caroboxylic anhydride with Schiff bases (which was prepared using different Aldehydes with amines [H1-H10] and seven membered rings were prepared (derivatives of 7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3e][1,3]oxazepine-5,9-dione, and the presence of Aceton. [A1-A10].         Melting points of the compounds were measured. The prepared compounds were diagnosed spectrally by using UV-Visible and Infrared spectroscopy, and (1H-NMR) Spectrum for some compounds. The results confirmed the validity of the proposed chemical compositions.

Synthesis of N-benzothiazole derivative imide on polymeric chain, have possible biological activity
