Boltzmann Machine Neural Network for Arabic Speech Recognition

Boltzmann mach ine neural network bas been used to recognize the Arabic speech.  Fast Fourier transl(>lmation algorithm has been used t() extract speciral 'features from an a caustic signal .

The  spectral  feature size is reduced by series of operations in

order to make it salable as input for a neural network which is used as a recogni zer by Boltzmann Machine Neural  network which has been used as a recognizer for phonemes . A training set consist of a number of Arabic phoneme repesentations, is used to train lhe neuntl network.

The neural network recognized Arabic. After Boltzmann Machine Neura l    network   training  the  system   with   few  selected   Arabic phonemes, the results came out to be very encouragi ng .

Speech Signal Compression Using Wavelet And Linear Predictive Coding

A new algorithm is proposed to compress speech signals using wavelet transform and linear predictive coding. Signal compression based on the concept of selecting a small number of approximation coefficients after they are compressed by the wavelet decomposition (Haar and db4) at a suitable chosen level and ignored details coefficients, and then approximation coefficients are windowed by a rectangular window and fed to the linear predictor. Determination of Best Location for Elevated Tank in Branched Network

The research focuses on determination of best location of high elevated tank using the required head of pump as a measure for this purpose. Five types of network were used to find the effect of the variation in the discharge and the node elevation on the best location. The most weakness point was determined for each network. Preliminary tank locations were chosen for test along the primary pipe with same interval distance. On the Greedy Ridge Function Neural Networks for Approximation Multidimensional Functions

The aim of this paper is to approximate multidimensional functions f∈C(R^s) by developing a new type of Feedforward neural networks (FFNS) which we called it Greedy ridge function neural networks (GRGFNNS). Also, we introduce a modification to the greedy algorithm which is used to train the greedy ridge function neural networks. An error bound are introduced in Sobolov space. Finally, a comparison was made between the three algorithms (modified greedy algorithm, Backpropagation algorithm and the result in [1]).
