Study of Toxic Effect of Crud Colicin Exracted from Escherchia Coli on Viability of Immune Cells.
...Show More Authors

Crude-colicin  was extracted from g.coli isolated from urinary tract

infection patients. Toxicity of various concentrations of crudt: colicin

on the viability of immune cells [phagocytic ceUs(M0,PMN) and lymphocytes]  was studied.  Results  indicated  that  toxicity  ciTect of crude colicin is dependent on concentration. Low concentrations (I0,

25, 50  mg/ml)  didn't  have  toxic  effects,  but  when  there  was an increase  in  the  consternation  of  this  extract, the    viability  of  the immune cell s began to decrease.

Study the Toxic Effect of Different Doses of Duprost in Liver and Blood of Albino Mice
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of different doses of Duprost in the liver and blood of albino mice. The current study included twenty one albino mice, obtained and grouped into 3 groups: control (3 mice), acute group (12 mice) and chronic group (6 mice). The acute group was subdivided into 4 groups and each group of 3mice, was given a lonely oral dose of (0.25ml, 0.15ml, 0.1 ml and 0.05ml respectively) for 24 hours. Whereas the third group was subdivided into 2 groups and each set was given a daily dose of (0.15ml and 0.05 ml respectively) for 30 days. After the mentioned periods, blood samples from each animal were taken for blood analysis. Then, the mice of all groups were sacrificed and the livers were removed, pro

Amplification and cloning the gene of bovine leukocyte α-A-interferon in cells of Escherichia Coli
...Show More Authors

Interferon’s plays a role in innate immune responses through upregulation of costimulatory molecules and induction of proinflammatory cytokines. Interferon alpha (IFN α) type of Interferons. The present study characterized IFNα cDNA . The interferon’s play a great role in protection from infections, caused by microorganisms, and have powerful antiproliferative and immunomodulation activity. In this study DNA was isolated from bovine blood leukocyte, which was used in the quality of matrix for amplification of α-interferon gene with the use of PCR, and isolation of gene α-interferon and transformation in vector pUC18 and expression vector pET24b (+). All plasmids contained an additional DNA fragment size corresponding to the gene

[PDF] from iasj.net Isolation of tRNA From Uropathogenic Escherichia Coli
...Show More Authors

Thirty uropathogenic E. coli isolates were isolated from hospitalized and non hospitalized patients, complaining of urinary tract infections, of Al-Kadhymia Teaching Hospital and subjected to tRNA extraction. A method of tRNA extraction was modified by adding sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) instead of urea. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and two methods of staining, ethidium bromide staining and silver staining, as well as spectrophotometric detection were used.

The Effect of Zinc oxide Nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) on the Viability of Leishmania tropic In Vitro
...Show More Authors

Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) also known under local names like (tropical sore, oriental sore and Baghdad sore) is the most common form of leishmaniasis. It is a public health and a social problem in many developing countries. The Old World disease primarily is caused by Leishmania major in dry desert areas and Leishmania tropica in urban areas. Recently, metal oxide nanoparticales have been versatile platforms for biomedical applications and therapeutic interventions. There is an urgent need to develop new types of antileishmanial agents instead of classical drug (pentostam), especially, when its efficacy showed a decline towards some strains of Leishmania. Therefore, the present work was aimed to evaluating antileishmanial activity of z

Staphylococcal nuclease removes Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae previously adhered to uroepithelial cells
...Show More Authors

Twenty-seven S. aureus isolates were obtained from patients referring various hospitals in Baghdad. Only 17 isolates produced DNase. SNase was extracted and purified from Saphylococcus aureus 3 isolate since it produces the largest zone of clearance on DNase agar. Nevertheless, only those phenotypically-producer of DNase harboured nuc gene. Present study revealed that the crude enzyme had a specific activity of 50.66 unit/mg; while it reached 241 unit/mg after ion exchange chromatography using carboxymethyl cellulose column. SDS-PAGE showed a single sharp band with an approximately 16.8 kDa molecular weight. A matter indicates that the enzyme is consistently pure. Results proved that SNase was able to significantly (P< 0.05) reduce th

The effect of solar cells distribution on the Performance of solar panel
...Show More Authors

Three different distribution modules of silicon solar cells in a panel are used in this study . Each module consists of five identical circular silicon solar cells of radius (5cm) and then the total panel areas are identical. The five solar cells are arranged in the panel in different shapes: circular, triangular and rectangular .The efficiency for these three panel distribution are measured indoor and outdoor. The results show that the efficiency is a function of the cells distribution.

A Comparative Study of Amoxicillin Sensitivity Against Escherichia coli Isolates Isolated from Urinary Tract Infections
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this study was to investigate the bacterial etiology of urinary tract infections microbiologic properties of Escherichia coli isolated from urinary tract infection patients against nine amoxicillin antibiotic. E.coli isolates were collected from patients samples suffering from urinary tract infection, based on biochemical tests of Epi 20 system .Nine Amoxicillin antibiotics were selected (some vials and other are capsules) which manufactured in different countries were bought from local pharmacies in Baghdad, for the purpose of knowing the inhibitory activity of these antibiotics on E.coli one of the main microorganisms to cause urinary tract infection, the antibiotics were prepared in a concentration of 100mg/ml and their

An Epidemiological and Multidrug Resistance Study for E. coli Isolated from Urinary Tract Infection (Three Years of Study)
...Show More Authors

Uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) is problematic and still the leading cause of urinary tract infections worldwide. It is developed resistance against most antibiotics. The investigation, surveillance system, and efficient strategy will facilitate selecting an appropriate treatment that could control the bacterial distribution. The present study aims to investigate the epidemiology and associated risk factors of uropathogenic E. coli and to study their antibiotic resistance patterns. 1585 midstream urine specimens were collected from symptomatic urinary tract infections (UTI) patients (225 males and 1360 females) admitted to Zakho emergency hospital, Zakho, Kurdistan Region, Iraq from January 2016 until the end of December 2
