Spectroscopic Study of Some 1,3,4-0xadiazole, 1,3,4- Thiadiazole and 1,2,4- Triazole Derivatives

Compounds   [II   - [51  namely  2,5-(N,N'-diphenyldiamino)  -1,3,4- oxadiazole  [I],  2,5-(N,N'- diphenyl  diamino)  -1.3,4- thiadia:zole (2] ,4-

phenyl   Â·3-(N-phenyl   amino)-5-hydroxy-1,2,4-  triazolc  [31 ,3,5-(N,N'­

diphenyl diamino)-1 ,2,4- triazolc r4) and 4-phenyl  -5-(N-phenyl arnino)-

3-  th io l -1 ,2.4· triazole  [5) are prepared  and  studied.  Their  electronic

spectra in different  pH media and in dilferent  solvents were studied. The lR spectrum of compounds [3) and [5] showed  that these compounds are present in keto and thion tautomer, respectively.

Electronic studies of compounds [3) and [51 in different  pH media and

solvents are reported and showed  that these compounds arc  not affected by the polarity of the solvent and the compounds [3] and [5] are  affected by some pH media.

Synthesis of 5-Fluorouracil Derivatives as Possible Mutual Prodrugs with Meloxicam and Ibuprofen for Targeting Cancer Tissues

In the present study, five derivatives have been designed to be synthesized as possible mutual prodrugs for 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) and non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to selectively deliver the drugs into the cancer cells. The synthesis of the target compounds were accomplished following multistep reaction procedures, the chemical reaction followed up and the purity of the products were checked by TLC. Synthesis and Characterization of New 2-amino-5-chlorobenzothiazole Derivatives Containing Different Types of Heterocyclic as Antifungal Activity

Nine new compounds of 2-amino-5-chlorobenzothiazole derivatives were synthesized. These new compounds were formed through the reaction of 2-amino-5-chlorobenzothiazole 1 with ethyl chloroacetate and KOH, which gave an ester derivative 2, followed by refluxing compound 2 with hydrazine hydrate to afford hydrazide derivative 3. Solvent-free synthesis of new chalcone derivatives from 3-nitro phthalic acid and evaluation of their biological activities

Synthesis of 2-(4-Acetyl-phenyl)-4-nitro-isoindole-1, 3-dione chalcones were performed by fusion of 3-nitro phthalic anhydride with p-aminoacetophenone. Then the later was grinded with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of sodium hydroxide to produce new chalcones derivatives A3-10 without using any solvent formation of new N- arylphthailimide chalcones were confirmed by FT-IR,1HNMR, 13CNMR spectroscopy and all final compounds were tested for their antifungal and antibacterial activity some of them showed more biological activity than the standard drugs
