In this work, the ligand was obtained from the reaction of diazonium salt of naphthyl amine with 1-amino-2-naphtol-4-sulfonic acid. The bidentate ligand type (NO) donar atoms was reacted with 1,10-phenanthroline and matel salt in a 1:1:1 mole ratio to give the complexes, using NaOH as a base. Physical-chemical teqnichas were used to characteriz the prepared compounds FT-IR,U.V-Vis, fluorescence and 1HNMR spectroscopy, atomic absorption , chloride content along with conductivity and melting point measurements .Finally, thermal analysis was used to confirm the presence of coordination H2O molecule in the complexes structure. According to memtioned characterization methods, the general formula proposed for CoII ZnII, CdII and HgII complexes is [M(L)(phen)(H2O)Cl].
Coupling reaction of 2-amino benzoic acid with the 8-hydroxy quinoline gave the azo ligand (H2L): 5-(2-benzoic acid azo )-8-hydroxy quinoline.Treatment of this ligand with some metal ions (CoII, NiII and CuII ) in ethanolic medium with a (1:2) (M:L) ratio yielded a series of neutral complexes with general Formula[M(HL)2],where: M=Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II), HL=anion azo ligand (-1).The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption,FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements.

A series of lanthanide metal (???) complexes have been prepared from the new azo ligand, 3-(1-methyl-2-benzimidazolylazo)-Tyrosine (MBT). The structural feature were confirmed on the basis of their elemental analysis, metal content, molar conductance, magnetic measurement, FTIR, 1 HNMR and UV-Vis spectra studies. The isolated complexes were found to have a mole ratio (1:2) (metal:ligand) stoichiometry with the general formula [Ln(MBT)2]Cl (Ln(???) = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd). The chelates were found to have octahedral structures. The FTIR spectra shows that the ligand (MBT) is coordinated to lanthanide ions as a N, N, O-tridentate anion via benzimidazole nitrogen, azo nitrogen and oxygen of hydroxyl after deprotonation. Com

In the present paper we report the synthesis of a new ligand [HL][(2-1-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-hydrazono]-ethyl) benzene-1, 3, 5-triol and its complexes with (Mn", Fe", Cd", and Hg") The ligand was prepared in two steps. In this work , the ligand [N-(4-Methoxybenzoyl amino)-thioxomethyl] Methionine acid has been synthesized by the reaction of 4- Methoxybenzoyl isothiocyanate with methionine acid . The metal complexes were prepared through the reaction of metals chlorides of Co(II) , Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) in ethanol as solvent .
