A study on liquid- liquid extraction of Iron (III) in Benzene has been made. The effect of different parameters such as type of medium and time of equilibration, concentration of metal ion, type of organic solvent, and effect of cations on distribution ratio of Iron (III). Has been studies the stoichiometry of the extracted species determined using slope analysis method and found to be (M:L) (1 :3).
Background: Breast cancer (BC) is a type of cancer originating from breast tissue, Lipid profile seems to influence the development of female breast cancer, especially in the presence of an increased body mass index so.
Objective: to explore the status of lipid profile in women with breast cancer.
Subjects and methods: the present study is a cross-sectional study (2010/2011) done at Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital. Includes measurement of LP in sera of postmenapausal newly diagnosed women with BC in comparison with healthy control women. This measurement was done using colorimetric method. In The results of this study include a total of 100 patients with BC were involved in this study, they were classified as newly diagnosed postmenop
Background:
Gelatin a promising biomaterial which is useful and interesting natural polymer which offer possibilities of chemical modification through grafted copolymerization with an saturated acid anhydride such as methyl nadic anhydride formatted gelatin –g- methyl nadic anhydride copolymer (A1), then modified to its corresponding polymer (A2) by substituted salbutamol as useful derivative as biomaterial .the prepared drug biopolymer was characterization by FTIR spectroscopy and thermal analysis was studied controlled drug release was measured in different buffer solution at 37C0 .
Plentiful of healthcare practice is based on a disease/treatment approach rather than a prevention one. That is, the predominant focus is on treating existing symptoms and conditions that bring the patient to healthcare setting. There is no doubt about the significance of this approach for acute conditions, but there is some question whether this is the most efficient and effective way of distributing healthcare for increasing number of diseases and limited resources.
The evidences from everywhere have showed the profound cost benefit of prevention in healthcare practice. Healthy community, therefore, is the ultimate aim in any health services planning. The priority of care giver is shifted now to promote health and prevent

Adiponectin is exclusively secreted from adipose tissue into the bloodstream. Leptin, a hormone synthesized by fat tissue had been noted to regulate energy balance and metabolism. In this study investigated the relationships of adiponectin/leptin ratio with metabolic syndrome in apparently healthy Iraqi male adults.
Objective: This study was designed to investigate the r
This study was focused on biotreatment of soil which polluted by petroleum compounds (Diesel) which caused serious environmental problems. One of the most effective and promising ways to treat diesel-contaminated soil is bioremediation. It is a choice that offers the potential to destroy harmful pollutants using biological activity. The capability of mixed bacterial culture was examined to remediate the diesel-contaminated soil in bio piling system. For fast ex-situ treatment of diesel-contaminated soils, the bio pile system was selected. Two pilot scale bio piles (25 kg soil each) were constructed containing soils contaminated with approximately 2140 mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs). The amended soil:

The researcher adopted a scale of (29) paragraphs spread over three domains designed by Antonovski (1993) to measure the sense of coherence. A sample of (210) disabled individuals was chosen randomly to collect the required data. The data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The result showed a lack of sense of coherence among the sample.

Abstract:
Objectives: This study aims to (1) find out the association between patients' age, years of getting the disease, and their spiritual coping ability, and (2) investigate the differences in illness perception and spiritual coping ability between gender groups, level of education groups, monthly income groups, residence groups and satisfaction with health services groups.
Methodology
A descriptive correlational design is used in this study. The study sample includes a convenience sample of (158) patients with chronic kidney failure.
The study instrument consists of two parts; the first one focuses on participants’ sociodemographic characteristics, and the second part deals with participants’ spiritual coping by us
