The optimum cultural conditions for garamicidin production by local isolate B.brevis were studied.Best result was obtained when the isolate B.brevis was grown on media composed of 1%glucose as carbon source,1% ammonium chloride as a nitrogen source ,0.5% Dipotassium hydrogen orthophosphate as a phosphate source and after 48 hours of incubation at 30C .Garamicidin has been extracted and purified through acid precipition and then extracted by organic solvent (ether& acetone ).Using HPLC the garamicidin antibiotic showed three types A,B and C garamicidin .

     Depending on the high resistance to antibiotics, five isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and 7 isolates of Serratia  fonticola were selected out of 150 bacterial isolates from burn wards in Baghdad hospitals, which were later identified by VITEK2. Theoretical calculations are achieved to study the effect of different deuterium pressures on various characteristics parameters for PF400J plasma focus using an international computer code.  Axial and radial velocities, voltage tube, plasma temperatures, and neutron yields at different operating deuterium pressures are computed. Neutron emission has been calculated in the device.  The maximum total neutron yield calculated is of the order of  and  neutrons per shot for entire pressure used. The computed results agree reasonably well with the published neutron yield curves.

This study aims to reduce the period of time needed to establish secondary stability of dental implant measured in ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient) by investigating the effect of orally administered simvastatin on bone. Materials and methods: simvastatin tablets (40mg/day for three months) were administered orally for 11 healthy women aged (40-51) years old who received 1
